Exclusive – Stefan Dennis on his Strictly dancing debut and THAT exit

On Sunday, people were talking about a possible leak of the *Strictly Come Dancing* results, suggesting someone connected to the show or audience was sharing information. Ross King, the entertainment editor from *GMB*, and *The Apprentice*’s Thomas Skinner were at the bottom of the leaderboard, making them the most likely contestants to be eliminated in the show that began at 7:15pm on BBC1.

The surprising news on Saturday was that each of the judges – Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Anton Du Beke, and Motsi Mabuse – would take on the role of Head Judge for a week, leaving viewers wondering who might be eliminated. Surprisingly, Ross King advanced to next week’s show. Unfortunately, Tom Skinner and his partner Amy Dowden were in the bottom two and had to leave the competition, meaning Motsi didn’t have to make the deciding vote.

At the Inside Soap Awards last Monday, Digital Spy had an exclusive chat with Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis, 66. Dennis, who has famously played the character Paul Robinson for over 30 years, said he’s determined to do well in the competition and hopes to still be performing in the UK by Christmas.

Talking of the end of Neighbours, he added: ‘Who knows, another network might pick it up.’
