Exclusive NCIS: Origins Clip Has Me Worried About Lala After She Discovers Someone Close To Her Has Been Shot

Cecilia “Lala” Dominguez has physically recovered from the car crash at the end of NCIS: Origins Season 1, but things haven’t been easy for her in Season 2. The ongoing conflict with Flaco Navarro and his associate is causing problems, and now she’s facing a new crisis. In Tuesday’s episode, titled “End of the Road,” someone she cares about will be shot, and TopMob has an exclusive first look at her reaction.

More on NCIS: Origins

NCIS: Origins threw some big challenges at Wheeler because of his hidden romance, but at least something positive resulted from all the drama.

The NCIS prequel series, ‘Origins,’ has found the actor who will play a younger version of Scott Bakula’s iconic character, and I’m really excited to see how it turns out!

Lala, Randy, and Gibbs respond to a shooting involving Anthony Belldino. While the case wouldn’t normally fall under their jurisdiction since Tony isn’t in the Navy, Lala is deeply worried because he’s a valuable informant. She received a message from Tony shortly before the shooting, and with his life now in danger, she’s determined to uncover what led to the attack.

We first encountered Tony, nicknamed “Twitchy Tony,” a few weeks earlier in the episode “Happy Birthday,” but he and Lala didn’t interact. Mariel Molino’s character revealed that Tony was her confidential informant, but she didn’t accompany Randy to question him at the illegal fight he was organizing in an abandoned warehouse. Mike Franks believed Lala’s presence would reveal their identities as federal agents to the fighters, so Gibbs went in her place, as shown in the following scene.

Lala clearly cares deeply for Tony, and will likely do everything she can to control the investigation into his shooting, or at least get the NIS involved with the police. However, uncovering the truth behind the shooting could be dangerous. If Tony doesn’t survive, it will have a devastating impact on her. Even if he recovers, the events of this case could continue to affect Lala’s life, much like what Flaco is currently experiencing.

Good news! We won’t have to wait long for answers to these questions. The season finale of NCIS: Origins, titled “End of the Road,” airs this Tuesday at 9 p.m. Eastern on CBS. After that, the show will take a break and return with new episodes on February 24, 2026. That’s also when NCIS Season 23 and NCIS: Sydney Season 3 will premiere. In the meantime, you can rewatch episodes of all three shows—or any of the older NCIS series—on Paramount+.
