Looking for a scary movie? You can see the new horror film Exit 8 for free next week! It’s coming to UK cinemas on April 24th, but free tickets are available now before its official release.
Thanks to Escapes, fans can watch a free screening of the video game adaptation – praised by Dread Central as a fantastic and suspenseful thriller – at over 130 independent cinemas across the UK on Monday, April 13th and Tuesday, April 14th. Find a cinema near you and book your tickets here.
The film Exit 8 is inspired by the popular Japanese video game of the same name, which has sold over two million copies globally. It tells the story of a man, known only as The Lost Man, who becomes stuck in a never-ending, empty subway tunnel and desperately searches for a way out – specifically, Exit 8.
The task seems straightforward, but it’s important to notice anything unusual. If he finds something out of place, he needs to go back. Otherwise, he can continue, but even one error will reset his progress. Will this lost man ever find a way out of this never-ending hallway?

The film Exit 8 premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year and has received critical acclaim, currently holding a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. RogerEbert.com praised it as “a clever and unshakeable nightmare about embracing the possibility of change.”
