The actress from Australia, previously involved in a six-year relationship with Sean (age 64), is currently romantically linked to her fellow cast member on ‘Animal Kingdom’, Ben Robson.

Leila portrays a young version of protagonist Janine ‘Smurf’ Cody in In Animal Kingdom, while Ben plays Smurf’s second-eldest son Craig Cody.

The pair were first spotted together in March 2023. 

Two years ago, nearly, Leila and Sean’s divorce became official, marking the end of their one-year marriage. It was shortly after this that the sighting occurred.

For four years, they were a pair who went on dates, then in July 2020, they got married. Around a year after that, they decided to part ways, and in October 2021, Leila initiated the divorce process.

In a subsequent interview with Hollywood Authentic, Sean revealed he wasn’t happy with the split.

The actor openly admitted to the difficulties in their relationship, even going so far as to acknowledge that they had made mistakes, such as being unattentive and causing the marriage to fail.

He said: ‘There’s a woman who I’m so in love with, Leila George, who I only see on a day-to-day basis now, because I f***ed up the marriage. 

‘We were married technically for one year, but for five years, I was a very neglectful guy.’   

The two-time Academy Award winner, who said he never cheated, added he ‘allowed myself to think that my place in so many other things was so important.

This situation encompassed me feeling utterly dejected, resorting to drinking alcohol and taking Ambien as early as 11 a.m., due to watching the news and the Trump era, which left me feeling hopeless.

Sean expressed that he’s uncertain about the future of him and Leila, but he’s been addressing issues he believes were present in their relationship by working on himself.
