Ex-Game of Thrones star makes history after breaking deadlift record AGAIN and his celeb fans rush to congratulate him
Previously of Game of Thrones fame, Hafthor Bjornsson has once more shattered the world deadlift record by successfully lifting an astonishing 505 kilograms in a bench press.
Over the weekend, the 36-year-old actor and bodybuilder, famed for his role as The Mountain in the series, took to Instagram to boastfully announce his recent accomplishment.
He has previously made history by winning a 500kg lifting challenge in 2022, making this no stranger to creating records.
On Sunday, the Game of Thrones actor posted on social media: “I set a new world record at 505 kilograms!” along with the video.
Celebs including Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger commented on the video, celebrating his win.
Hafthor barely even flinched as he squatted down to lift the mind-boggling amount of weight.

– He was noticeably working hard while executing the exercise correctly, ultimately surpassing Eddie Hall to claim the title of World’s Strongest Man.
A man once titled “The World’s Strongest,” known for his powerful role on a popular TV series, typically eats six times a day, with each meal and snack totaling approximately 8,000 calories in sum.
The tall, muscular man from Iceland emphasized that these elements are essential for him to preserve his colossal physique, given that he stands at approximately 6 feet 9 inches and weighs around 423 pounds.
In a YouTube video, Bjornsson shared his typical daily meal routine. He starts each day by consuming three eggs, a pound of cooked rice, half a cup of strawberries, and two cups of milk.
Additionally, he mixes together about one cup of orange juice, slightly less than one cup of Skyr yogurt, and roughly half a cup of blueberries for his smoothie.
Afterward, I venture back to the kitchen for a satisfying nibble – a 4oz piece of steak, approximately two more cups of rice, a half cup of veggies, and a whole avocado.
Instead of having an avocado and a blueberry-filled shake for lunch, he opts for the same meal but skips the avocado, followed by a plain shake as his drink.
Shortly following a poignant message from the actor and his wife, the heartwarming victory occurred – a postscript to the tragic anniversary when they sadly parted with their daughter.

In November, the Icelandic power couple shared their sorrow through a touching Instagram post, as they paid tribute to their daughter Grace who had passed away.
Björnsson and his wife lost their second baby after suffering from a miscarriage.
In a long message, they wrote to their daughter: “It’s been a full year since your birthday, and an additional day since we discovered the news of your passing within me. For 366 days now, we’ve lived without you by our side.
The pair included photos of the brief time they had with their baby daughter.
In our time together, you missed out on experiencing the warmth of my embrace or the softness of my chest. You also didn’t have the chance to gaze upon my face or the familiar sight of your father’s visage.
They mentioned that they missed out on witnessing your initial smiles, the emergence of your first teeth, and hearing your very first giggles for the first time. They also regretted not having the chance to applaud and celebrate when you first sat upright by yourself or managed to pull yourself up to stand.
‘So many firsts that we will be missing for the entirety of our lives.’
They shared that they were posting with the aim of increasing understanding and lessening the societal shame surrounding miscarriages and pregnancy losses.
