On Sunday, Lucy Fallon from Coronation Street flaunted her growing baby belly in a sunny white two-piece outfit while having a fun-filled vacation with her girlfriends in Rome.
On Monday, the actress, aged 28 and known for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap opera, revealed that she and her boyfriend, Ryan Ledson (a footballer), are expecting their second child together.
She seemed calm and composed with her second pregnancy, flashing a smile as she took charming pictures during sightseeing in Rome, Italy.
Lucy stood right in the heart of a charming street for an Instagram post, holding her baby bump as she showcased some of her vacation moments.
In her post, she donned a floor-length white linen maxi skirt, paired with a front-tied white blouse featuring ruffles, adorned with starfish earrings as accessories.
In other snaps, she can be seen enjoying some time with her actress friend, Charlotte Jordan.
With bright smiles, they seemed jovial as they took advantage of the sunny weather by relaxing on two outdoor chairs positioned on a balcony.
Her little breakaway comes just days after she announced she was expecting.
Earlier this month on Instagram, Lucy posted a heartwarming video featuring herself with her noticeable baby bump, hinting that she was halfway through her pregnancy.
In January 2023, the well-known actor and his teammate at Preston North End, Ryan (aged 26), who plays as a midfielder, were overjoyed to welcome their firstborn, Sonny Jude, into their lives.
With Sonny by their side, the pair were visible, engrossed in a book alongside their child. The scene then transitioned to show a positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound image, suggesting good news was on its way.
Lucy and Ryan met through friends back in 2017.
It appears that the popular soap actress has expressed a desire for two additional kids, yet it looks like Ryan might require persuasion on this matter.
On ITV’s Drama Queens in April, the midfielder mentioned something about the future when he said, “Perhaps one more,” to which Lucy responded, “How about two more.”
Ryan argued back: ‘One more for me, like’.
Lucy then had the final word as she added: ‘Two more. I have the uterus.’
The actress also opened up about her frustrations that Ryan is yet to pop the question.
Lucy mentioned: “It seems everyone assumes that dating a footballer brings lots of glitzy perks, but Ryan is quite ordinary. He’s just an everyday guy from Liverpool.”
“I’m single at the moment, and it seems to be a recurring topic of humor among my friends. The more I bring it up, the less likely it seems to become reality. Perhaps if I stop discussing it, it might materialize… who knows?”
At the start of the current year, the actress resumed her part as Bethany Platt on the ITV1 soap opera. Now, her character is working together with attorney Dee Dee Bailey, played by Channique Sterling-Brown, to uncover the truth about Lauren Bolton’s whereabouts.
Previously absent journalist and amateur sleuth, Bethany, was brought back onto the show last year due to the writers recognizing that her character played a vital role in unfolding the story surrounding Lauren’s destiny.
Last April, a producer phoned the star, verifying that a storyline involving grooming would reintroduce her character.
For several months now, Lucy has been privy to Lauren’s future, but she’s been obligated to conceal this knowledge from her closest friends and family.
