Ex-Channel Seven staffer Amber Harrison breaks silence after she was mysteriously dropped from ABC Four Corners episode
As a seasoned observer with a knack for uncovering the truth, I find myself utterly perplexed by the saga surrounding Amber Harrison and her omission from the Four Corners expose on Channel Seven’s workplace culture. Having lived through my own tumultuous experiences with the network, I can’t help but feel a sense of déjà vu.
An ex-assistant from Channel Seven, who was once a high-ranking official, spoke publicly for the first time about a controversial incident. Initially scheduled to be part of an inquiry into the network’s work environment, her interview was unexpectedly excluded at the last moment. Now, she has shared her thoughts on the whole affair.
Last night, I found myself glued to the screen as Amber Harrison shared her story with Louise Milligan in an extended interview for the Four Corners special broadcast. It was a riveting three-hours that I simply couldn’t tear myself away from!
In the episode labeled ‘Don’t Speak’, accusations of widespread sexism, misogyny, and bullying within Seven were brought to light. The show asserted that these issues are pervasive in their organization.

‘However, it was surprising and quite odd that this wasn’t addressed at all in the program’.
Ms. Harrison found it intriguing that the interview, which was advertised in a promotional video for the episode a week ago on ABC, wasn’t aired during the recent broadcast.
In the context of being an ardent fan, I found it quite striking that a crucial aspect was overlooked in the narrative, given the immense anticipation surrounding the series and Louise Milligan’s exceptional reputation as a journalist.
‘The fact that my interview, which could have underscored the very point of ‘don’t speak,’ was excluded is intriguing, especially when the decision not to include it wasn’t explained on the program’.
‘There’s a much bigger narrative here that wasn’t shared’.
On Tuesday evening, Ms. Harrison posted an Instagram story detailing a harsh exchange she experienced with a social media user on Monday, prior to the television episode’s broadcast.
She has decided whether or not she’ll be at Four Corners to enjoy some snacks. Either way, she’s excited! (She wrote this.)
‘The social media user responded to your post by saying, “No one made you live with and use drugs with your boss,”‘ or more informally, ‘In response to your post, the user said, “Nobody compelled you to live with and do drugs with the boss”.’
Ms. Harrison responded sharply by saying, “No one made you act like a jerk, yet here we are,” as she titled her strong remark in an Instagram story.
‘Possibly unnecessary. Then again…right’. she wrote.
In December 2016, news outlets highlighted Ms. Harrison due to an affair with the ex-CEO of Channel Seven, Tim Worner, after she was dismissed under allegations of improper credit card usage.

It’s believed that Channel Seven has sent a legal request to the ABC, asking them to take out a portion of an interview they aired, which was used in one of their promos.
The ABC complied with the legal order and the interview segment with Ms Harrison was scrapped.
In the given episode, neither Ms. Harrison nor Mr. Worner were discussed by the ABC, and the reason behind removing Ms. Harrison’s interview from the promotional video remained unexplained.
In relation to the program’s predictions and the high-quality journalism we had hoped for, it’s quite unexpected that they overlooked a significant issue – my exclusion as well as the identities of the company’s management. It seems crucial that this missing piece of information could have completed the picture, Mr Harrison commented.
‘Making this choice prevented a significant narrative from being shared, one that would have underscored the repercussions of expressing oneself.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Seven and the ABC for further comment.
Court order obtained by Channel Seven prohibits Ms. Harrison from disclosing any private details.
In 2017, a court order issued by the New South Wales Supreme Court prohibits Ms. Harrison from publishing any comments or statements that might harm the reputation of the network by being considered defamatory.
Regarding the court’s decision, Ms. Harrison maintained that her action in addressing Ms. Milligan fell under the protective boundaries established by the suppression order.
As a devoted follower, I’d like to express that Ms. Harrison’s interview being overlooked hasn’t tarnished the integrity of the courageous ex-employees who dared to voice their concerns, even in the face of formidable resistance.
She informed Daily Mail Australia that their bravery is strikingly different from their strategies and choice not to broadcast my interview.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m well aware of the intricacies at play; however, not seeing my interview featured in the final broadcast leaves me pondering about the storyline that has been crafted.
In light of the high-quality journalism Louise Milligan is known for, it’s surprising that the crucial point – the reason for my being left out – was not brought up in the discussion.
In an interview for the episode, over 200 employees from ABC reported on a suspected toxic work environment at Channel Seven, expressing their concerns openly.
As a diligent follower reporting the news, I previously unveiled accusations suggesting that high-ranking figures within our network were involved in sexually inappropriate behavior towards staff, as well as verbal abuse.
In the Four Corners episode, they delved into the strongly male-dominated atmosphere that stifled the voices of women working there.
Channel Seven stated that they have terminated the employment of those whose actions do not align with their company values.
