Story Highlights
- EvoCreo 2 is a beautiful blend of creature collection, exploration, and strategic battles, set in the immersive world of Shoru.
- The game offers over 50 missions, 300+ creatures, 100 unique traits, 200+ moves, and more.
- It faced multiple delays due to several team members leaving the project, the lead developer taking a break, ongoing commitments to EvoCreo 1 updates, and other challenges.
IMfinity Studios LLC is now accepting pre-registrations for their eagerly anticipated open-world monster-taming role-playing game, EvoCreo 2, which is available on both Android and iOS devices. Originally announced in February 2020, this sequel to the cherished RPG, EvoCreo, was initially slated for a fall 2020 release, but encountered several setbacks along the way.

Beyond the primary plot, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to help Shoru’s citizens by accomplishing over 50 tasks, forming alliances, and discovering secret riches – it certainly sounds exciting! However, what truly piques my interest is the excitement of tracking down elusive and mythical beasts, each boasting distinctive alternate color schemes. Additionally, you can craft a powerful squad and devise tactical approaches for combat sequences that are turn-based in nature.
I’m equally thrilled to delve into the expansive universe, traversing everything from thick woodlands and enigmatic caverns to lively cities, and the sequel introduces an extra pair of environments to discover. Moreover, the game offers a flexible combat system that allows for personalized trainer battles.
Despite years of delay since its initial announcement, the game looks very promising
All in all, the game appears incredibly engaging, despite encountering various setbacks along the way. Boasting approximately 300 different creatures to catch, 100 distinct characteristics to optimize, over 200 strategic moves to conquer, elemental vulnerabilities, and numerous other features, it promises a delightful and captivating journey.
In addition to battling against other trainers, you can explore the captivating pixel art world of the Coliseum, immerse yourself in over 30 hours of offline and online gameplay, and unleash your monsters without any level restrictions. This exciting experience promises endless fun!
Initially slated for a 2020 launch, the game encountered several setbacks, one of which was a pushback to a 2022 release. The team discussed these challenges on Facebook in 2022, stating, “Over the past two years, the team has faced numerous personal life changes that have impacted their work on the project significantly, with some members even leaving the project altogether.
Development was held up when the main programmer went on a leave, causing a pause until their return, along with some other complications. The team announced “We’re currently aiming for a tentative 2023 release if everything continues smoothly this year,” but the game encountered additional setbacks, and now, after multiple postponements, we are finally looking forward to the game being launched successfully.
Pre-registration for EvoCreo 2 is open on Google Play Store for Android users, and on App Store for iOS enthusiasts. Go ahead and secure your spot by registering through your preferred platform. Keep an eye out for future announcements!
