Everybody’s making the same joke as emotional first trailer lands for Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him

Okay, so the first trailer for the Reminders of Him movie just dropped, and honestly, everyone watching it is saying the exact same thing. It’s pretty funny – you can’t miss it if you check out the comments!

The new movie, directed by Vanessa Caswill, tells the story of Kenna (played by Maika Monroe), who is trying to rebuild her relationship with her daughter after being released from prison. It’s based on a popular novel by Colleen Hoover.

Even though her child’s father’s family has been raising her, Kenna is working to build a relationship with her daughter and is also dealing with regrets from her past.

What to Read Next

The movie Reminders of Him, featuring Tyriq Withers, Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, Rudy Pankow, and Lainey Wilson’s first film role, will be released on March 13th.

The first trailer for the new movie has been released, offering a glimpse into Kenna’s difficult situation with the Landry family. It also shows the start of a romance with Ledger Ward, who used to be close friends with the father of Kenna’s daughter. Tragically, that father died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver – an accident Kenna was driving during.

I’ve seen people joking online that this new movie, because of its title and the fact that Jonathan Withers is starring, is basically a crazy sequel to that unexpectedly awesome horror film, Him, that came out earlier this year. It’s a funny thought, honestly!

Withers played Cameron Cade in Justin Tipping’s first film as a director. Cade is a talented football player trying to revive his career after a serious head injury, with guidance from veteran player Isaiah White, played by Marlon Wayans.

One person commented, “Seeing Tyriq in Him is amazing, and I’m loving it!” Another viewer wondered if this was a very early sequel to the movie Him.

One person quipped: “Him? What You doing in the bar are You gonna play football?”

In an interview with NME, the actor shared what interested him about the part: “I was drawn to Cameron because he’s doing his own thing.”

Today’s young people are more tuned in to their mental and emotional wellbeing and are seeking a more well-rounded approach to achieving their goals.

Older generations often believe you have to give up everything and be unhappy to achieve success.

Withers appeared in a new installment of the classic horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer earlier this year, reuniting with original stars Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Withers played Teddy Spencer, a key member of a group who concealed the truth about a fatal car accident involving a man from Southport.

Reminders of Him is set to be released on March 13, 2026
