Pokémon GO has announced its February Spotlight Hour schedule, and it promises to be an exciting month for players!
Pokémon GO has announced which Pokémon will be featured in its Spotlight Hours for February 2026, and some of these events offer great opportunities for players to catch rare Pokémon.
Here’s a list of all the Pokémon featured in Pokémon GO’s February Spotlight Hours, along with the dates they’ll appear.
Official Pokémon GO February 2026 Spotlight Hours
As a Pokémon GO player, I always get excited for Spotlight Hours! Basically, every week for an hour, one particular Pokémon shows up everywhere. It’s the perfect chance to catch a ton of that Pokémon and finally get enough Candy to evolve it or complete my Pokédex entries. It really helps speed things up!
February marks the beginning of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations (starting February 27th), so fans were hoping for a special Spotlight Hour event this month.
Below is a list of every Pokémon available during Pokémon GO’s February Spotlight Hours:
- February 3 – Whismur (2x Catch Candy)
- February 10 – Munna (2x Catch XP)
- February 17 – Horsea (2x Transfer Candy)
- February 24 – Totodile (2x Catch Stardust)
When are Spotlight Hours?
Every Tuesday, from 6 to 7 p.m. in your local time, Pokémon GO hosts Spotlight Hours. These events happen weekly, lasting an hour, and feature different Pokémon each time.
Okay, seriously, this month’s best Spotlight Hour has to be Totodile! Double Stardust is awesome, of course, but honestly, it’s because everyone loves Totodile. It’s one of the original starters from Generation 2, and it’s just a classic Pokémon that a lot of us grew up with!
Okay, so Pokémon Legends: Z-A is already blowing my mind – they’re giving Feraligatr, which is the final form of Totodile, a Mega Evolution! Seriously, Totodile and its line were already super popular, but this is taking it to a whole new level. I can’t wait to try it out!
There’s been some talk among Pokémon fans about a possible ‘Let’s Go Totodile’ game coming in 2026. We’ll find out if it’s true on Pokémon Day, February 27th.
As a huge Pokémon fan, I’m so excited to hear The Pokémon Company is planning something massive for 2026! It’s the 30th anniversary of the whole franchise, and it sounds like Pokémon GO is going to be a big part of the celebrations, which is awesome!
