As a huge Marvel fan, I was really intrigued by what we saw in Wonder Man! It seems pretty clear now that the DODC is going after people with special abilities – basically, they’re shaping up to be the villains for the MCU’s X-Men story. They’re definitely being established as an organization that’s against mutants, and I expect we’ll see a lot of them in the upcoming Mutant Saga. Plus, it all but confirms that Beau DeMayo’s character, played by Sink, has some kind of enhanced ability, and maybe it’s something she can’t fully control, which explains why the DODC has her locked up.

A lot of fans, myself included, are now wondering if she’s been controlling people to get something back and avoid being caught by the DODC after her escape. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it!

Photos taken on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in October 2025 gave fans their first glimpse of Sadie Sink’s character, and showed she’ll have red hair in the movie.

Despite this, Felicia Hardy (Black Cat) remained secretive about her involvement in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day storyline, playfully suggesting that appearances, like hair color, aren’t always what they seem.

“A lot of people forget that hair color can change, but, yeah, I understand all of the theories.”

Sink’s recent statement might mean she’s denying rumors about her playing Jean Grey. Or, she could be intentionally avoiding spoilers, which is understandable considering how secretive the role is.
