Every Marvel movie and show still coming in 2024

As a dedicated fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I can’t help but be thrilled by the recent success of “Deadpool & Wolverine” at the box office and Comic-Con. The energy surrounding Marvel is finally back, and it’s an exciting time to be a fan!

After the impressive performance at Comic-Con and the blockbuster hits of “Deadpool” and “Wolverine” at the box office, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has once again ignited excitement among fans! However, will Marvel be able to leverage this renewed enthusiasm?

1. Here’s a peek at what we have left to explore this year: I’ve summarized below some exciting Marvel films and series set to release in 2024.

Agatha All Along

Premiering on Disney+ on September 18

Due to the anticipated lengthy box office runs of Deadpool and Wolverine, their successes are expected to finance us until Marvel’s upcoming major production: Agatha All Along.

1. A remarkable marketing strategy led to this show’s title being altered several times during filming, mirroring the unpredictable nature of the enigmatic witch. Initially titled “Agatha: Coven of Chaos,” it was later renamed “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” and then “Agatha: House of Harkness.”

In the forthcoming Disney+ show “WandaVision,” Kathryn Hahn reprises her role as Agatha Harkness, a formidable character who ultimately takes center stage. Hahn’s captivating portrayal generated immense anticipation for Agatha, and now we get to witness her shine in her very own series.

The synopsis reads:

In Agatha All Along, the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…

Eyes of Wakanda

Scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2024

The animated show titled “Wakanda’s Gaze” delves into the past of Wakanda, recounting its story from the perspective of its valiant warriors who are on global missions to retrieve vibranium relics. Regrettably, Marvel has been fairly quiet about this undertaking and it didn’t surface during the Comic-Con presentation in San Diego. A projected release date of 2024 is currently anticipated for this production.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Tentatively scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2024

In an alternate animated adaptation, titled “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” we follow Peter Parker as he transforms into the iconic superhero, Spider-Man, within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This series offers a unique and unprecedented journey for the character, while preserving the essence of his early comic book origins.

Hudson Thames is set to voice Peter Parker/Spider-Man again, a role he played in Marvel Studios Animation’s “What If…?” series. Additionally, Charlie Cox will play Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Hugh Dancy will portray Otto Octavius, and Kari Wahlgren will take on the role of May Parker.

We’ve received little recent news about this series, leading us to believe that its release on Disney+ in 2024 is still a possibility.

No more Marvel movies for 2024

2024 marks the end of Marvel Studios’ movie lineup with Deadpool and Wolverine, but fear not, fellow fans! The next major MCU blockbuster, Captain America: Brave New World, is set to premiere on Valentine’s Day 2025. Can’t wait!

An opportunity for Marvel to cash in on the hype generated by “Deadpool” and “Wolverine” might seem lost, but history shows that too much Marvel isn’t necessarily a positive thing. With superhero saturation becoming noticeable within the MCU in recent times, let’s hope this hiatus brings some renewal.
