Netflix has announced a fourth season of The Night Agent, shortly after the conclusion of its third season. The streaming service shared the news with a video showing fans celebrating in Times Square.
The players answer a phone call, which leads them on a hunt for a code that unlocks a secret. When they find it, a billboard appears announcing the upcoming fourth season.
Show creator Shawn Ryan shared that filming The Night Agent has been an incredible experience, taking the production to five countries and three continents. He also expressed excitement that Peter Sutherland’s story will continue with a fourth season.

The show is heading to Los Angeles for its next season. Production company Sony Pictures TV recently received a tax break to relocate there, and filming is expected to begin in May.

Ryan had already started planning the next season, even before it was officially renewed. He told Deadline that they had been developing the storyline for some time and had already written some scripts and outlined future episodes.
We’re currently developing the story and writing the scripts for Season 4. We expect a decision about whether to move forward with the season within the next month or six weeks. If approved, we already have scripts prepared, so there won’t be a long wait between seasons 3 and 4.
Netflix seems to value its audience and is trying to release new seasons of popular shows more quickly.
This thrilling series, adapted from a Matthew Quirk novel, follows FBI agent Sutherland, played by Gabriel Basso, as he uncovers a dangerous conspiracy reaching the very top of the US government.
When the third season of The Night Agent was released last month, Digital Spy gave it a four-star rating. They praised the show’s effectiveness, comparing it to the main character, Peter, and noted its likely renewal for future seasons, which they see as a positive thing for viewers.
