“Even more twists, turns and thrills”: Netflix spy thriller The Night Agent confirms season 4 return

Netflix has announced a fourth season of The Night Agent, shortly after the conclusion of its third season. The streaming service shared the news with a video showing fans celebrating in Times Square.

The players answer a phone call, which leads them on a hunt for a code that unlocks a secret. When they find it, a billboard appears announcing the upcoming fourth season.

Show creator Shawn Ryan shared that filming The Night Agent has been an incredible experience, taking the production to five countries and three continents. He also expressed excitement that Peter Sutherland’s story will continue with a fourth season.

Everyone involved with the show – the writers, actors, and crew – is excited and prepared to deliver even more exciting and surprising moments for our amazing fans.

The show is heading to Los Angeles for its next season. Production company Sony Pictures TV recently received a tax break to relocate there, and filming is expected to begin in May.

Ryan had already started planning the next season, even before it was officially renewed. He told Deadline that they had been developing the storyline for some time and had already written some scripts and outlined future episodes.

This thrilling series, adapted from a Matthew Quirk novel, follows FBI agent Sutherland, played by Gabriel Basso, as he uncovers a dangerous conspiracy reaching the very top of the US government.

When the third season of The Night Agent was released last month, Digital Spy gave it a four-star rating. They praised the show’s effectiveness, comparing it to the main character, Peter, and noted its likely renewal for future seasons, which they see as a positive thing for viewers.
