Eva Mendes reveals real reason she may NEVER return to acting after over a decade away from Hollywood

Eva Mendes reveals real reason she may NEVER return to acting after over a decade away from Hollywood

As a dedicated follower of Hollywood news and someone who has always admired Eva Mendes‘ work, I must say that her decision to step away from acting and focus on other ventures seems like a logical choice for someone who has reached such a career high with her husband, Ryan Gosling.

Eva Mendes has disclosed that she feels uncertain about returning to the silver screen, as she achieved a significant career peak while collaborating with her partner Ryan Gosling on a project.

50-year-old actress and her 13-year partner, Ryan (aged 43), found themselves falling in love while filming the 2012 movie titled “The Place Beyond The Pines.

Since then, Eva has shifted her attention towards various new business endeavors following the birth of Esmeralda Amada, who is now nine, and Amada Lee, aged eight. At present, it seems she doesn’t intend to re-enter the movie industry for quite some time.

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America Tuesday, the actress from The Hitch shared: ‘I’m not sure [when I’ll come back]. If there are intriguing roles. About ten years ago, I felt like I had accomplished enough.’

She then noted that her final film project with Ryan was a moment she didn’t think she could top.

She went on to say: “I felt something like, ‘I’ve just collaborated with Ryan Gosling, the best! Working with him and our joint project has given me an incredible career boost. I was tempted to ‘Seinfeld’ it and leave, so who can tell?’

For a decade now, Eva has been engaged in fashion and household product collaborations, penning a new children’s book titled “Desi, Mami, and the Endless Worries,” following her last on-screen appearance.

Previously this year, the actress who plays Ghost Rider disclosed that she and Ryan have an unspoken understanding regarding her stepping away from acting to focus entirely on motherhood for their two small children.

Since becoming a parent, the Canadian actor has consistently been involved in filmmaking, whereas Eva has primarily stepped out of the spotlight.

When asked about the transition from acting to full-time parenting, she once said to Today: “It seemed like an obvious choice. I feel incredibly fortunate, and when I considered spending more time with my kids… even though I still worked, I just stopped acting because acting often requires traveling to different locations.

Eva explained to him, “The understanding with Barbie star Ryan felt much like an unspoken pact. It was more or less, ‘He’ll work over there, and I’ll work here, I’ll just focus on my tasks.’

Previously, Eva expressed high praise for Ryan’s work environment, stating that she had never encountered anything quite similar before.

She noted, “His work style, his dedication to his art, his aim for perfection not just in his own performance but also in enhancing his co-stars, is truly unique. However, it seems that there’s only one Ryan!

Previously, Eva had discussed the explanation behind her absence from red carpet events alongside the Oscar-nominated Ryan, following a fan’s request for her to accompany him during the Barbie movie promotions.

“She replied, ‘You’re amazing! That’s such a great compliment; thank you!’

She noted that they only appeared together on the red carpet during promotional events for their 2012 movie, The Place Beyond the Pines, on a single occasion.

Fans were delighted to get a glimpse of their family during the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.

The Hollywood couple turned heads as they made their way to their seats to watch the Dressage Individual Grand Prix Freestyle at the Chateau de Versailles.

The doting parents were spotted holding hands with their daughters before the couple later headed to the Bercy Arena to watch the women’s gymnastics uneven bars final.
