Eva Longoria, 50, sizzles in plunging swimsuit on Spanish beach… as she slams ICE raids in the U.S.
Eva Longoria looked stunning in a deep-cut swimsuit while basking on the Spanish beach, now her residence.
50-year-old actress from Desperate Housewives began the swimming suit season by spending a joyful day filled with sunshine and sand, accompanied by her loved ones.
As I, a lifestyle enthusiast, basked in the sunny shores of Spain, where I moved from bustling Los Angeles in 2023, there was no containment for my joy as I played in the water alongside my cherished husband, José Bastón, President of Televisa, and our delightful six-year-old son, Santiago.
She was stunningly beautiful the entire time, sporting a playful swimsuit that accentuated her fantastic physique perfectly.
The actress appeared radiantly joyful while playing in the surf, enjoying the water with her child, and openly displaying affection with her partner.
During their day at the beach, Eva managed to find moments to smile, yet it was evident that she had been deeply affected by the ongoing ICE raids in America, as she couldn’t hide her underlying sorrow.

Even though she’s located outside the U.S., the prominent Mexican-American actress continues to stay informed about and respond to the escalating turmoil.
On Instagram, she’s consistently sharing content criticizing the raids, and recently uploaded a video denouncing the controversial ICE deportations that sparked demonstrations and disturbances in Los Angeles, which some consider un-American.
Yesterday, I shared my thoughts with my 10.6 million Instagram family in a lengthy video post. Although I’m not currently in Los Angeles, I want them to know that my heart is with everyone who’s been affected by the ongoing situation.
Before the city implemented a curfew in the downtown district, her remarks were made as part of an attempt to quell the protests happening in that area.
The remarkable celebrity, currently residing in France during the recording process, expressed it as challenging to observe the evolving situation from a distance.
I felt it necessary to log in now, gather my thoughts, and write a message due to the ongoing issue of mass deportations.
Whenever I attempt to make a recording, I find myself on the verge of tears and end up not wanting the message to focus on me or my feelings associated with it. It’s simply heart-wrenching, difficult to bear even as an observer, and it feels incredibly inhumane to watch from a distance.

The star from Corpus Christi, Texas expressed amazement, saying, “It’s hard for me to picture the current situation in Los Angeles,” and went on to say, “I find it hard to accept that this is happening in Austin, Texas as well. It’s hard to believe that such events are taking place across the nation.
I find it astonishingly unexpected that the response and public sentiment towards it is so unlike what I would expect from an American viewpoint.
The star expressed her disbelief, stating that what she witnessed contradicted the fundamental principles that the founders of America established.
The Golden Globe-nominated actress stated, “It’s clear we don’t want criminals, rapists, drug dealers, or other harmful individuals in our nation; it’s crucial to understand that’s not who we are.

Longoria stated that President Donald Trump exceeded the bounds of appropriate action, and failed to keep his election pledge to remove only those who were criminal offenders.
She stated that these events like birthday parties, graduation ceremonies at elementary schools, and shopping at Home Depot do not involve criminal activities.
I merely wish that everyone would show greater understanding and empathy towards this matter, recognizing that many industries rely heavily on immigrant workers.
We refer to those individuals who provide for our needs, look after ourselves and our loved ones, and contribute to the well-being of our communities. It is simply not in our nature to disregard them as fellow human beings.”
This version aims to maintain the original message while using more natural and easy-to-read language. The phrase “We can’t deny them as humans” has been replaced with a more colloquial expression, “It is simply not in our nature,” to convey the same sentiment of inherent respect and recognition for all human beings. Additionally, the sentence structure has been adjusted slightly for clarity and flow.
For those continually shouting, “You should have come here legally, wait your turn at the back of the line,” it’s important to clarify that there is no actual line. There has never been a physical queue that everyone has been waiting for, as some people have been waiting for citizenship for as long as 25 years, but they haven’t been “in line” in the traditional sense.
I kindly request that if you hear someone shouting “Yes, they should suffer.” in response to a situation, please remember they don’t deserve it. These individuals are diligent members of my community who simply aim to work and support their loved ones. Let us strive for empathy and understanding towards them instead.

For those of you participating in demonstrations, please prioritize safety and respect. It’s crucial to recall that the rationale behind these protests is the separation of parents and small children. Minors are being kept in detention facilities for extended periods alongside grown-ups.
It’s clear that there’s an issue with this situation. The unfair treatment towards longtime, law-abiding, tax-paying immigrants who are integral members of our community is unjust. I will persist in advocating for their rights through my posts, speeches, and support.
Starting from last Friday, my days took an unexpected turn as I found myself right in the heart of a whirlwind, triggered by Immigration Customs Enforcement carrying out a string of raids across Los Angeles, igniting demonstrations that echoed through the city streets.
In Los Angeles, peaceful protests soon escalated into riots, resulting in the looting of downtown stores and the burning of several vehicles.

Demonstrators from Seattle and Austin, as well as those in Chicago and Washington D.C., have been seen marching on city streets, shouting chants, waving banners with messages opposing ICE, and causing congestion in central thoroughfares and around government buildings.
In some instances, while most gatherings remained tranquil, a few escalated into confrontations with the police. The authorities intervened with arrests and deployed pepper spray or similar agents to control the crowds.
As a die-hard supporter, I can hardly contain my excitement as I anticipate the upcoming wave of protests! Activists have been meticulously organizing larger demonstrations in the near future, and it seems that on Saturday, ‘No Kings’ events will be held nationwide, synchronizing perfectly with President Donald Trump’s anticipated military parade through Washington.
Despite the protests, the Trump administration declared they will persist with their operations involving raids and deportations.
On social media, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) will persist in upholding the law.

This week, Governor Greg Abbott (Republican, Texas) announced his intention to mobilize the National Guard, as a precautionary measure before anticipated demonstrations following the confrontation between protesters and law enforcement officers in Austin on Monday.
The unusual steps taken by Trump, such as deploying the National Guard and Marines to control protests in Los Angeles, have ignited a nationwide discussion about the application of military force within U.S. territory, with the Republican president finding himself at odds with California’s Democratic governor.
In a video message on Tuesday, California Governor Gavin Newsom expressed concern over a president misusing power excessively, which escalated an already volatile situation. This reckless action put our citizens, law enforcement officers, and even the National Guard in danger. It was at this point, he stated, that the downward slide started.
Once more, I find myself gripped by a fervor that can only be described as all-consuming. Time and time again, he opts for escalation, favoring brute strength over prudent action. His decisions are not merely hasty; they’re a grand spectacle, a theatrical display that seemingly disregards the sanctity of public safety. This, my friends, is an attack on our democracy, a slow erosion of the very foundations upon which it stands.
In a move that seems to hint at potential future presidential aspirations in 2028, Governor Newsom, along with the state of California, filed a lawsuit against President Trump and the Department of Defense on Monday, aiming to prevent the dispatch of federal troops.

Trump in turn has suggested Newsom should be arrested.
On Tuesday, approximately hundreds of U.S. Marines were dispatched to the Los Angeles region, following an order given by President Trump. In addition, he had previously instructed the mobilization of around 4,000 National Guard personnel in the city.
Military forces such as the Marines and National Guard will primarily serve for safeguarding government officials and structures, rather than engaging in law enforcement tasks.
LA Mayor Karen Bass stated that these deployments weren’t essential because the police can handle the protests, which for the most part have remained peaceful. The disturbances are confined to approximately five streets.
Instead, due to the occurrence of looting and violence during the nighttime hours, she decided to enforce a curfew covering approximately one square mile of the city center, effective from Tuesday evening onwards. This measure is expected to continue for several days.
The police reported that various groups refused to disperse in certain districts after the implementation of the curfew, leading to several detentions for non-compliance.
Previously, the police reported that 197 individuals were already taken into custody on Tuesday, which is over twice as many as all the arrests made so far combined.
