In 2023, the family moved from Los Angeles to Marbella, Spain, having bought a large, luxurious house there with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms along the Spanish coast.

Eva and the Mexican businessman have reduced the price of their eight-bedroom property in Beverly Hills from $22.8 million to $18.9 million. They have initiated the process of moving their possessions to their newly refurbished house in Marbella.

A source close to the matter revealed to DailyMail.com in April that Eva and José were making permanent departures from Los Angeles and had listed their house for sale once more.

I’ve been eagerly waiting for this news, and here’s how I’d put it in my own excited words: “Back in June, they unexpectedly pulled it from the market. But just recently, they’ve listed it again – this time for a cool $4 million less than before! It seems they’ve had enough of their ownership, can’t wait to pass it on to someone else.”

The home they bought in 2017 for that price was 5.4 million dollars less in size, measuring only 5,600 square feet.

They have begun transporting their possessions there and are firm in their decision.

“Their preference is for their son to grow up in an environment rich in nature and aesthetics, away from the influence of Hollywood’s glamour and potential distractions.”

The 1,531-square-meter villa also boasts an indoor pool, sauna, and a state-of-the-art home gym.

In January, Eva, a native of Texas, introduced their lavish new property in HELLO! magazine and shared with the publication: “The moment I visited Marbella twenty years ago, I fell in love on sight. I remember thinking, ‘One day, this will be my home.'”

While in Barcelona for filming, I seized the opportunity and purchased it on the very same day.

I can’t help but express my feelings as an ardent admirer, when she shares her honest thoughts about LA. She describes it as “constantly bustling” and “not truly glamorous.” Her days are filled with “shooting on set,” “attending endless meetings,” or getting “stuck in traffic jams.” The city’s notorious gridlock only adds to the chaos.

While LA and Marbella share the advantage of being near the coast and enjoying pleasant weather throughout the year, they differ significantly in other aspects.

She added: “My days here are packed with enjoyable activities – paddle tennis, the beach, meals out, socializing, and more. There’s hardly any room left for boredom.”

In 2022, Eva received the prestigious title of ‘Dame’ despite being a Spanish citizen, as her ancestry can be traced back to the historic Spanish city of Oviedo.
