Euphoria star Hunter Schafer’s new horror movie lands strong Rotten Tomatoes rating

As a fan who has grown up watching a plethora of horror films, I must say that my excitement for Hunter Schafer’s new movie, “Cuckoo”, is reaching its boiling point! Having been a dedicated viewer since the days of slasher flicks and classic haunted houses, I can confidently say that this film looks like it’s going to be something truly special.

Euphoria star Hunter Schafer’s new horror movie Cuckoo has landed a strong Rotten Tomatoes rating.

Under the guidance of director Tilman Singer, this movie revolves around a teenage girl relocating to the German Alps to reside with her father; however, all may not be as it appears.

In the forthcoming movie, Schafer is starring alongside Dan Stevens from Abigail, a role that has earned praise from critics following its debut at the Berlin International Film Festival.

As a longtime fan of intriguing mysteries and captivating performances, I am particularly thrilled about the upcoming movie “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.” Having followed Jessica Henwick since her role in “Game of Thrones,” it’s exciting to see her continue to shine in such a high-profile project. Marton Csokas, who delivered an impressive portrayal in “Into the Badlands,” is another talented actor I am eager to watch in this film. Lastly, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey, whose performance as Maid Marian in “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” left a lasting impression on me, will surely bring yet another layer of complexity to the storyline. With such an impressive cast, I am confident that “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” is set to be another masterpiece that will keep viewers guessing until the very end.

Prior to its theater debut later this month, the movie “Cuckoo” has garnered a brand-new 77% rating on a popular review compilation platform (based on 113 reviews).

As a gamer diving into this cinematic adventure, I can’t help but be blown away by the movie’s uniquely twisted narrative. The storyline is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, keeping me on the edge of my seat. To top it off, the acting performances by Stevens and Schafer were phenomenal, generating an intense, palpable tension that had me hooked throughout. Here are a few voices echoing my sentiments:

Time Out

“Sure to be a cult classic, it’s quite literally cuckoo – and often gloriously so.”

Washington Post

“Discovering the dangers that are out in the open adds to the enjoyment of Cuckoo, a unique mix of science fiction, gruesome body horror, and cozy mystery set in the scenic Alps.”

“This new indie horror film, ‘Longlegs’, is more enjoyable compared to last month’s equally unbalanced one, largely due to its lighter tone. It’s less self-important, and its humorous quirks make it easier to overlook its eventual slide into confusion.”
