Euphoria season 3 gets exciting update
As a dedicated fan of Euphoria, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing the latest updates about season 3! The wait has been long, but it seems like our patience is about to pay off. Having followed the journey of these characters since their tumultuous teenage years, I can’t help but be intrigued by how they will navigate adulthood in the upcoming season.
Euphoria season 3 has received an exciting update from the head of HBO.
The second installment of the gritty teen drama headlined by Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney debuted as far back as January 2022. Due to last year’s work stoppages and the actors’ hectic calendars, season 2 has yet to take flight.
Initially, it was announced that production would start in early 2025, but more recent whispers suggested a change. Yet, during a HBO/Max press conference, the network’s leader, Casey Bloys, mentioned that everything is progressing according to schedule.
He announced that they are working on the production of “Euphoria.” It seems they’ve set a tentative start date between mid and late January, according to Variety.
“The situation remains unaltered; an online comment sparked it all, and we’ve commenced filming the season. I’ve gone through the scripts, and everyone involved is content. We’re pushing forward, and all of our actors are on board for the show.
Season 3 will leap forward in time as a means to account for the noticeable ageing of our cast members since the initial episodes were filmed.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Sweeney expressed that moving ahead in time is a fresh approach for him.
She finds herself discovering things along the way and staying open to new experiences, yet she can’t hide her enthusiasm. After all, she adores Cassie, for whom portraying is an exhilarating adventure. Consequently, she eagerly anticipates what lies ahead in Cassie’s story.
Moreover, Sweeney shared her eagerness about reconnecting with all her fellow co-workers on set.
She stated, “They were the team and actors who were with me when I first started in this field.” She continued, “Although we all originated from various backgrounds, we found ourselves united during a chaotic period, which makes it particularly special to have that close-knit group as part of my early journey.
“They’re experiencing a similarity to what I’m going through. It’s nice to have that community.”
Euphoria airs on HBO and streams on Max in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and Sky Go/NOW in the UK.
