Euphoria season 3 adds huge Hollywood icon to cast
Sharon Stone has been cast on the upcoming third season of Euphoria.
The award-winning actor is set to join the third episode of the much-anticipated series, starring alongside Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, and Maude Apatow.
As a devoted fan, I can’t express enough how electrifying it is for me to be part of this extraordinary team brimming with breathtaking skills and passion.
She went on to praise, “From the brilliant mind of Sam Levinson to the deep emotional depth shown by this talented ensemble and skilled production team.
“I am honored to be Euphoric.”
At present, specifics about Stone’s character are being kept confidential. Yet, fans eagerly anticipate the possibility of Stone acting alongside Maddy Perez from Demie, who is a huge fan of the style portrayed in Stone’s 1995 film Casino.
The third season of our dark teen drama series has been planned out for a while now, considering the second episode was released back in 2022.
This year, an initial glimpse of the upcoming episodes was unveiled, featuring Zendaya returning as Rue Bennett.
The production hold-ups will lead to a narrative leap forward in the storyline, which allows us to account for the fact that the cast appears older now compared to the initial set of episodes.
As a devoted fan, I must share that while I’m thrilled about Stone joining the Euphoria family, it’s disappointing to learn that some of our favorite cast members won’t be returning for chapter three.
Barbie Ferreira’s character Kat Hernandez won’t be returning to the series, as the actress has decided to leave the show. Sadly, Angus Cloud, portraying Fezco, passed away at the age of 25 in July 2023.
Last year, Stormy Reid said she wouldn’t be playing Gia, Rue’s younger sister anymore.)
Regrettably, Gia won’t be part of the third season, yet I owe a tremendous gratitude to the cast, crew, and HBO for that remarkable series, as Reid expressed in November.
Euphoria airs on HBO and streams on Max in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and Sky Go/NOW in the UK.
