Eternal Strands Gets a Late January 2025 Release Date

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about Eternal Strands, a new fantasy RPG from Yellow Brick Games. With a team of AAA veterans, led by none other than Mike Laidlaw, the man behind some of the most memorable moments in Dragon Age and BioWare, this game promises to be a masterpiece.

Game development company Yellow Brick Games has revealed that the role-playing game titled “Eternal Strands,” created by a team of AAA veterans led by veteran game designer Mike Laidlaw from Dragon Age and BioWare, will be released in January 2025.

In addition to its launch, the game will collaborate post-launch with Square Enix’s Creative Studio III, known for creating games like Final Fantasy XIV Online and Final Fantasy XVI. This collaboration will result in unique content developed specifically for Eternal Strands by the studio.

The first of these updates will be free, adding a new ‘Epic’ creature, weapons and armour to the game, created by Final Fantasy XIV lead artist Yusuke Mogi. A total of seven language options will also feature at launch, supporting Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and German subtitles as well as English and French subtitles and VO.

Looking forward to an exciting journey through a “stunning landscape” filled with a “welcoming ensemble of companions”, the game Eternal Strands is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 28th January 2025. Take a sneak peek at the release date trailer below.
