Eterna are your first LoL Game Changers champions!

Eterna became the first champions of the LoL Game Changers: Rising series, defeating G2 HEL in a decisive victory.

Man, I was hyped to watch the League of Legends Game Changers 2025 Rising finals! Eterna absolutely crushed G2 HEL to take the whole thing. It was awesome being the first time they ran this event – eight European teams went head-to-head for the championship. And the best part? They finished it all off with a live event in Paris! It was a really cool experience.

Eterna beat G2 HEL, 3-1

Eterna made history by becoming the first champions of the LoL Game Changers Rising tournament, defeating G2 HEL in a decisive grand final. The team’s winning lineup included:

  • Top: Ivy “Starrie” Starr
  • Jungle: Chara “Delicate” Giannopoulou
  • Mid: Sasha “Sashy” Barrault
  • Bot: Nova “Sea” Jenčáková
  • Support” Skylar “Virtuosa” Hew
  • Coaches:

Eterna and G2 HEL both finished first in their groups without losing a single game. Similar to major League of Legends events like Worlds 2025, the LGC Rising tournament used the Fearless Draft format.

Eterna started strong, easily winning the first two games. It looked like they might win the series quickly with a 3-0 sweep, but G2 HEL fought back and won game three.

During the third game, ETR Sea surprised everyone by playing Aurora in the bot lane. However, their team wasn’t able to secure a victory. Throughout her professional career, Sea has proven her versatility by playing every role in the game except support.

Eterna bounced back quickly in game 4 to earn the series and the trophy lift.

“We’re the first ever League of Legends Game Changers Champions!” Sea shared. “I’ve spent the last two days trying to find the right words to describe this weekend, and honestly, I’m still lost for words. We actually did it! I’m incredibly proud of my team.”
