ET Actor Henry Thomas, 53, Found Love with Olivia Hussey’s Daughter, 31: A Hollywood Love Story
ET: The Extra Terrestrial actor Henry Thomas, 53, made a rare sighting this week in Los Angeles.
A well-known ex-child actor from the Hollywood scene has been spotted with a woman who also boasts an impressive Hollywood pedigree.
Thomas was strolling to a restaurant accompanied by India Eisley, the 31-year-old offspring of the renowned Romeo & Juliet actress Olivia Hussey.
Hussey sadly passed away in late December at the age of 73.
Before he placed his hand on her back, Henry intertwined fingers with India. As they settled for a leisurely lunch outdoors in Los Angeles, they gently brushed elbows.
With a radiant smile, the youthful woman let her rich, chocolate-hued tresses cascade in gentle waves. Accessorizing with stylish shades, she completed her look. She wore a black blouse paired with denim blue jeans, black boots, and a sling bag on her shoulder.
Henry appeared slim and youthful despite being nearly two decades older than his attractive companion, dressing in relaxed attire that included a bold T-shirt, a flannel shirt layered over it, denim jeans, and black Nike sneakers.
They’ve been spotted together since at least 2023, and they even graced the red carpet together at events such as the 52nd Annual Saturn Awards held in Los Angeles during January.
In addition, there were pictures they uploaded onto Instagram in September 2024, where she leaned her head on his shoulder, adding more evidence that they prefer not to live in secrecy.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Henry’s rep for confirmation.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding when or if Henry parted ways with his previous spouse, Annalee Fery, there appears to be little attention given to his relationship with India.
Henry and Annalee wed in 2009 and have a daughter named Evelyn together.
Besides the actress, they (the actor) also have a daughter named Hazel, who is shared with his former spouse Marie Zielcke. They were married from 2004 up until 2007.
And before Marie, Thomas was married to Kelley Hill from 2000 until 2002.
In the year 2023, Henry mentioned that he had relocated to Oregon. He explained that although he adored Los Angeles, he wasn’t finding much professional success there. Sharing more, he often journeyed from Hollywood to a scenic farm in Oregon. Eventually, this regular routine led him to state, “I can’t keep doing this anymore.
Henry was born in San Antonio, Texas, then gave Hollywood a shot.
He gained prominence for playing the character Elliott in the 1982 movie titled E.T. the Alien, directed by Steven Spielberg.
As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but boast about this fantastic talent who not only bagged the prestigious Young Artist Award for his exceptional performance but also earned nods from the illustrious Golden Globes, BAFTA, and Saturn Awards!
After his role in E.T., Thomas temporarily withdrew from the limelight, later re-entering showbiz by appearing in indie, mainstream, and television movies.
1994 saw him team up with Brad Pitt for the movie “Legends of the Fall”. In 2002, he shared the screen with Leonardo DiCaprio in the film “Gangs of New York”.
Thomas was featured in the films “Gerald’s Game” (2017) and “The Haunting of Hill House” (2018). More recently, he appeared in “Midnight Madness” (2021).
India is a British-American actress born in Los Angeles.
Her parents are actress Olivia Hussey and musician David Glen Eisley.
The budding star’s grandfather was actor Anthony Eisley.
She has already acted in several projects.
Initially, Eisley made an unaccredited debut in the 2003 Italian television movie ‘Madre Teresa’, where her mother played the role of the renowned Catholic nun. Subsequently, she shared screen time with Hussey in the 2005 horror film titled ‘Headspace’.
From 2008 to 2013, she starred in the well-known TV series “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” featuring in a total of 91 episodes as Ashley Juergens. After that, she appeared in numerous films and shows such as Kite, Nanny Cam, Social Suicide, My Sweet Audrina, The Curse of Sleeping Beauty, AmeriGeddon, Clinical, Look Away, I Am the Night, Dead Reckoning, Every Breath You Take, American Outlaws, and Dead Money.
Her mother Olivia died in December 2024.
73-year-old actor Dominic (Hussey), best known for his role in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 movie “Romeo and Juliet,” passed away on December 27.
On her primary Instagram account, it was confirmed by her dear ones that she had peacefully passed away at home, only two days following Christmas.
Accompanying an old photo of the actress, they affectionately described her as an exceptional individual who had lived a life filled with enthusiasm.
Hussey gained widespread recognition when, at the age of 15, she was chosen to star in the screen version of one of William Shakespeare’s cherished plays.
She starred in more than fifty productions across a period of sixty years, including Black Christmas from 1974 and Death on the Nile from 1978.
As a devoted admirer, I’m deeply saddened to share this heartfelt news: On December 27th, my beloved Olivia Hussey Eisley took her final peaceful breath, enveloped in the love of those closest to her at home.
Olivia was an extraordinary individual, whose heartwarming nature, profound insight, and genuine compassion left an indelible impact on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Originating from Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 17th of April, 1951, Olivia led a vibrant existence marked by enthusiasm, affection, devotion to art, spirituality, and compassion for creatures great and small.
The deceased actress is survived by her family, including her sons Alex, Max, and India, her long-time spouse David Glen Eisley, and her grandson Greyson. Her enduring legacy of love remains deeply etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
‘Although we mourn deeply over this significant loss, we also honor the lasting impression Olivia has made on us personally and professionally.’
‘Those close to Hussey expressed gratitude for your thoughts and prayers, and kindly request seclusion while they grieve the passing of an exceptional spirit.’
As a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, born on the 17th of April, 1951, I am proud to share that I’m the daughter of the esteemed Argentine opera singer, Andrés Osuna. Being part of such a musically rich background has undoubtedly shaped my passion for a harmonious lifestyle.
As a young child, Hussey along with her mother, an English native, her brother, and herself relocated to London. In this bustling city, she pursued a dramatic education at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts for a span of five years.
In 2018, during an interview with The Guardian, she shared that her passion for acting had been sparked at a tender age. She playfully mentioned that as a child, she would often act out by walking around the house wearing a towel on her head, mimicking the role of a nun.
One day, I simply expressed, “Being a real nun isn’t for me, but I enjoy role-playing as one. If I were an actress, perhaps I could portray a nun while staying true to myself.
At the age of 13, the star continued to pursue her passion and began acting on the stage.
1966 saw her acting in the London play “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie”, sharing the stage with the renowned actress Vanessa Redgrave.
Her performance in the stage production caught the attention of filmmakers, leading to her being selected for the Paramount film, “Romeo and Juliet” (1968), a movie directed by Franco Zeffirelli.
As I stepped into the spotlight as Juliet in that groundbreaking film adaption, it was Leonard Whiting who brought Romeo to life with his captivating performance. Despite the controversy surrounding the movie, it proved to be a box office sensation upon its debut, raking in approximately $38.9 million against an initial investment of just $850,000.
The movie was nominated for four Academy Awards, with categories such as Best Picture and Best Director. Eventually, it took home two awards, specifically in the categories of Best Costume Design and Best Cinematography.
Olivia was awarded the Golden Globe as Most Promising Newcomer – Female and additionally recognized with the David di Donatello Award for her outstanding acting performance.
In the last months of 2022, lawsuits were filed by both Hussey and Whiting against Paramount, alleging the inclusion of underage nudity in the film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.
In the court case, the two celebrities argued that the movie’s director deceived them into performing naked scenes for the film, which ultimately ended up in the final version of the movie.
The judge threw out the case, labeling the allegations that the movie portrays explicit sexual scenes as an ‘exaggerated or false representation.’
In 2019, director Franco Zeffirelli sadly passed away. His son, Pippo Zeffirelli, addressed a lawsuit regarding this matter last year in January, as reported by Deadline.
55 years since the initial filming, it’s disheartening to learn that two veteran actors, who gained fame primarily due to this movie, now share that they’ve endured emotional distress and unease for many years, as a result of an alleged mistreatment.
In October of this year, a lawsuit brought by Olivia and Leonard was dismissed for a second time in the Los Angeles Superior Court. This occurred just a few months ago.
In a 2018 interview with The Guardian, Hussey reminisced about her part in the 1968 movie.
She conveyed her enjoyment of portraying Juliet. However, she disliked the public relations aspect, finding it tiring, and described herself as a wild, energetic character during that time.
As a devoted follower, I had the privilege of making my screen debut in the year 1964, gracing the set of Drama 61-67 with my presence, and appearing in just one captivating episode.
Following her role in Romeo and Juliet, she also made appearances in various other productions, including Lost Horizon from 1973 and Black Christmas in 1974.
1977 saw her reconnecting with director Franco Zeffirelli for a television series called “Jesus of Nazareth.”
In 1977, she got back together with Franco Zeffirelli for the TV production titled “Jesus of Nazareth.”
Or simply:
She joined forces with Franco Zeffirelli once more in 1977 for a TV series called “Jesus of Nazareth.
In addition to the distinguished ensemble, we had Robert Powell, Sir Laurence Olivier, Anne Bancroft, Christopher Plummer, James Earl Jones, and Ernest Borgnine on board as well.

Olivia went on to star in a number of movies, such as Death On The Nile (1978), The Pirate (1978), Ivanhoe (1982), and Mother Theresa (2003).
Additionally, she ventured into the realm of horror by playing a role in the 1990 television series “It,” which was based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name.
In 2015, Hussey’s final known acting role was as Julia’s mother in the movie titled Social Suicide.
2018 saw the actress publish her autobiography entitled “The Girl on the Balcony”, where she shared with People magazine, ‘My life has been quite an adventure. I am thankful for having made it through everything.’
