In this list, you’ll see the roster of every team that earned a spot in the EWC 2025 tournament via qualification, along with those teams that received direct invitations to participate.

EWC 2025: All qualified Dota 2 teams

From June 5th through June 13th, separate regions participated in regional qualifiers for EWC. Each region was vying for a single spot available to them. Interestingly, China had its own regional qualifier, which coincided with the Asian Champions League. In this event, Xtreme Gaming managed to upset Team Tidebound (now All Gamers Global) by overcoming the odds.

In the unplayed areas, powerhouse teams like OG, Natus Vincere, Team Secret, Nigma Galaxy, and numerous others were fighting for a chance. Regrettably, due to the fact that only one spot was up for grabs in each region, there were inevitably some significant eliminations throughout the competition.

In the Southeast Asian region, it was quite unexpected that BOOM Esports didn’t win the finals of the EWC, which left players like Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong out of the competition. On the other hand, in the Eastern European qualifier, an open qualifier winner emerged, with Alexey “Solo” Berezin’s Cyber Goose team showing surprising control over the games.

  • Asian Champions League – Xtreme Gaming
  • Western Europe – NAVI Junior
  • Eastern Europe – Cyber Goose
  • MESWA – Virtus.pro
  • Southeast Asia – Execration
  • North America – Shopify Rebellion
  • South America – Heroic

Sixteen teams and a gigantic prize pool

Seven additional teams, along with those directly invited, and the defending champions from the 2024 Riyadh Masters tournament, are gearing up to participate in the EWC 2025 competition. The grand total prize money on offer for this event is an impressive $3,000,000.

  • PARIVISION
  • BetBoom Team
  • Team Spirit
  • Team Falcons
  • Team Liquid
  • Tundra Esports
  • Talon Esports
  • Aurora Gaming
  • Gaimin Gladiators (Riyadh Masters 2024 champions)

As the EWC 2025 Dota 2 tournament approaches within a month, anticipation is growing. Several teams competing will have opportunities to demonstrate their talents prior at PGL Wallachia Season 5. Yet, others may find themselves brainstorming new strategies on the drafting board, aiming to secure the EWC 2025 championship title.
