FaZe miss out on ESL Pro League Seaosn 21
It’s intriguing that FaZe Clan isn’t on the guest list for ESL Pro League Season 21, as they are said to have skipped this particular event. Given the numerous CS:GO tournaments scattered throughout the year, including StarLadder and PGL hosting multiple events, teams may find themselves needing to decide which competitions they wish to participate in.
More recently, FaZe Clan welcomed EliGE into their Counter-Strike lineup, shortly after saying goodbye to Ropz. For a number of years, Ropz had been a valuable member of the team and played a significant role in maintaining FaZe Clan’s strong performance during the past few seasons.
The ESL Pro League has shifted its venue from Malta to Sweden, with a minor format adjustment for the competition as well. The departure of FaZe Clan provided an opportunity for GamerLegion to participate in this event. The 21st season of ESL Pro League will follow the PGL Cluj-Napoca and begins shortly after the conclusion of PGL’s first event of 2025, which takes place on February 23.
After the completion of the Pro League, the BLAST Open commences on March 19, 2025, which is only three days following the end of ESL Pro League Season 21.
The ESL Pro League Season 21 starts on March 1st and runs for sixteen days, concluding on March 16th of the same month. Featuring twenty-four teams, this competition is set to deliver top-tier Counter-strike action in Stockholm. With a prize pool of $400,000 and live broadcasts on Twitch, prepare for an exciting showdown!
