Royal Games revealed its upcoming horror adventure game, Escape: Immersion, which is scheduled to release on mobile and PC in July 2026. Created by the indie developer AzDimension, the game takes inspiration from popular titles like Inside and Little Nightmares. The development team worked on the project for over four years.

Okay, so I just started playing this game called Escape: Immersion, and it’s seriously creepy! It’s a survival horror game where you’re stuck in this underwater military base that’s falling apart. I woke up with absolutely no idea who I am or what’s going on, but I quickly realized I need to get out – and fast! The whole place is super tense, and it feels like time is running out.

The game unfolds like a traditional adventure, filled with surprising twists and turns. To survive and escape, you’ll need quick reflexes, the ability to adjust to unexpected dangers, and constant forward momentum, as the environment is constantly shifting and unsafe. What’s really clever is that the water isn’t the primary danger—it’s what’s hidden within it.

Don’t worry, this game isn’t just about wandering around – you’ll also get to experience exciting platforming challenges and solve clever environmental puzzles. I think it has a lot of promise, especially because of its distinctive visual style that looks like an old VHS tape, the diverse scenarios, the creepy and psychological storyline, and much more.
