Korie Robertson, daughter-in-law to Phil Robertson and wife to Willie Robertson, one of the four sons, shared a family update on Facebook: “Today, we rejoice because our father, spouse, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now in the presence of the Lord.” She referenced the Bible, stating about Phil Robertson: “He frequently reminded us of the words of Paul, ‘We don’t sorrow like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.’

Jase Robertson shared on X: “Today, my father ascended to be with Heavenly Father. His absence will be deeply felt, yet we find comfort knowing he’s in caring hands, and our family thrives because God’s goodness abounds! We look forward to reuniting with him someday.

As a devoted admirer, I’m sharing that Sadie Robertson, the cherished granddaughter of Phil Robertson, who happens to be the offspring of Willie and Korie, recently penned a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. In her post, she recounts one of their last conversations: “He told me to press forward with ‘full strength ahead!’ And I couldn’t agree more!

Initially, during a December episode of their podcast “Unashamed With the Robertson Family“, Jase disclosed his father’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. He described it as being in its early stages. In layman’s terms, doctors are certain that he has a blood disorder leading to various complications. Unfortunately, he’s not doing well and is experiencing significant difficulties. On the April 2 episode, Jase reported an update, stating that his father’s condition had worsened and required professional care since then.

In 1972, a man named Robertson, originally from Louisiana who had transitioned from college football to professional duck hunting entrepreneurship, created the Duck Commander duck call device. This invention later became the signature product of a prosperous hunting equipment company co-owned by Robertson and his family, which amassed millions in value.

Starting in 1987, our family business expanded into the media realm with the direct-to-video series called “Duckmen”. Later in 2012, A&E network introduced one of its most renowned shows, “Duck Dynasty”, which chronicled the Robertson family and their business until 2017. This reality TV series has given birth to several spinoffs, with “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” being one of them. This upcoming show is expected to focus on Willie, Korie, and their children and should make its debut this summer.

Phil Robertson is well-known for being outspoken about his Christian beliefs and conservative opinions. In 2013, a brief suspension from A&E occurred after he shared his perspective on sin with GQ, stating “Begin with homosexual behavior and expand from there.” Beyond this, Robertson has openly spoken against abortion, a position he holds, and has supported Republican political candidates at both local and national levels. This support includes initially backing Ted Cruz in 2016 and later announcing his endorsement for Donald Trump, both in 2016 and again in 2020.

Robertson leaves behind his beloved wife Kay, along with his sons Alan, Jase, Willie, and Jep, his daughter Phyllis (from another relationship), his cherished brother and close companion Silas, numerous grandchildren, and a multitude of dear friends and well-wishers.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, formerly White House press secretary under President Trump, expressed on platform X that Phil Robertson embodied the transformative power of God in our lives when we choose to follow Him. She added that he was a beacon of light for the world, and her family, Bryan and herself, are offering prayers for the entire Robertson family tonight.
