Erin Molan has landed a high-profile and potentially contentious interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This comes less than a year after she was unexpectedly dismissed from her position at Sky News.
Erin Molan announced on Thursday that she will be interviewing the controversial leader on her show, The Erin Molan Show. The interview will be broadcast Friday at 7am.
The news surprised and divided her fans, sparking both positive and negative reactions, and a lot of lively discussion online.
Erin announced on Instagram that she was getting ready for an important appearance on television, sharing a promotional image with her followers.
People reacted quickly, with one fan praising the move as ‘amazing’ and congratulating her. However, others wondered why she chose to give the Israeli leader a chance to speak.
‘Erin, please don’t do this,’ a follower commented under the post.

Benjamin Netanyahu is speaking at a critical time, as global attention and criticism are focused on his handling of the conflict in Gaza.
Molan’s decision to host the PM also reflects her long-standing and vocal support for Israel.
For the last two years, she has consistently argued on social media that criticizing Israel’s military actions is the same as being anti-Semitic. This position has caused a lot of discussion and disagreement among those who follow her.
Erin’s latest move marks a major moment in her career resurgence.
Despite reports that Molan was surprised by the cancellation of her show last year, Sky stated the split was friendly.
A Sky News spokesperson told the Daily Mail that Erin has been a valuable team member for the last three years, consistently working hard and passionately championing the causes she cares about for her audience.
‘We’d like to thank Erin for her contribution to the network.’
Molan presented her weekly news program, Erin, for the final time in November last year.

The cancellation of Molan’s show happened shortly after 2DayFM, facing financial difficulties, ended the breakfast radio program she co-hosted with comedians Dave Hughes and Ed Kavalee.
Losing his two main hosting positions reportedly cost the experienced journalist a substantial amount of money.
According to sources, she earned approximately $200,000 annually from her radio work at 2DayFM and another $150,000 per year from her position at Sky News Australia.
Paul Molan began working at Sky News Australia in July 2022. He had previously spent 11 years at Nine, leaving in December 2021.
She debuted Erin at 7pm on July 19, initially replacing Sharri Markson on Sunday nights.
Markson was on maternity leave, before Molan’s show was moved to 5pm on Fridays.
Molan explained she decided to switch from sports broadcasting because she wanted to cover challenging political topics instead.
Molan explained to The Daily Telegraph that being playful and humorous doesn’t diminish her serious interest in politics or her ability to be taken seriously in other areas.
I’ve always been passionate about the news and have been eager to start working in the field.
