On Thursday morning, the pair who became parents for the first time together in October of last year, shared a heartfelt joint statement, revealing their deep sorrow and concern due to Obi’s current health struggles.
Over these past several weeks, I’ve found myself increasingly concerned about the noticeable shift in Obi’s demeanor and joy – it’s as if my beloved friend has lost his sparkle.
‘He was having problems eating, sleeping and most recently, keeping his head straight.’
Under the guidance of their doctor, they decided to take Obi for an MRI scan after observing concerning alterations.

An earlier-this-week scan uncovered a startling finding – a substantial brain tumor situated on the right hemisphere of his brain.

This alarming news comes after an initially blissful parenting experience for Erin and Stace, who first announced the birth of their child only to Daily Mail Australia in December.
The couple shared at the time that they had named him Obi and were over the moon to bring him home.
‘We are so in love with him, we can’t believe he’s finally here,’ Stace said in December. .
