Erin finds the jewel in her Crown – a new leading lady

In simpler terms, the actress Erin Doherty from The Crown has developed a romantic interest in a woman who works for the National Health Service (NHS), much like King Charles’s nephew, Peter Phillips, who is also romantically involved with an NHS worker.

As a die-hard admirer, I’m thrilled to spill the beans! The captivating 33-year-old actress who stole our hearts as Peter’s mother, Princess Anne, in that riveting Netflix royal drama, has found love off-screen with Sinead Donnelly, a charming radiographer, aged 35.

Phillips, meanwhile, has announced his engagement to NHS nurse Harriet Sperling.

During the weekend, Erin shared a hint about their growing romance through a heartwarming photo of them during vacation.

As I gaze upon this image, it transports me back to the romantic streets of Italy, where we were strolling hand in hand under an enchanting archway. Dressed for an elegant evening event and sipping on a glass of wine, the memories of that special moment are still vivid. And Sinead, with a longing in her voice, said, “Let’s return to Italy, please…

Erin, the actress who shone in the recent Netflix hit, Adolescence, was once romantically involved for a considerable time with her fellow actress, Sophie Melville.

In 2017, they crossed paths during a production of Alan Ayckbourn’s play “The Divide.” Later on, Erin characterized their relationship as her most significant achievement. Currently, the two are basking in the early stages of their relationship, but Erin has openly acknowledged that her commitment to her profession sometimes impacts her personal life.

She stated not long ago, “I become deeply attached to my characters – my partner can vouch for this.” She also added, “As soon as something enters my realm, I tend to focus solely on it.

A person openly admitting to being a ‘hopeless romantic’ who deeply cherishes love, Erin has also expressed about her sexuality: “It took me quite some time to realize, ‘Ah, I’m gay’. I never felt prepared or inclined to define that aspect of myself, despite my relationships with men not providing fulfillment.

Helen’s novel way to thrive

Even though Helen Fielding is renowned for penning the beloved Bridget Jones series, she often grapples with feelings of self-doubt and impostor syndrome.

As an ardent enthusiast, I can’t help but share that the venerable author, now 67, is stealthily immersed in crafting a fresh tale – one that bears no resemblance to the on-screen adventures of the hapless anti-hero, brought to life by Renee Zellweger. Yet, in an unexpected confession, she confesses: ‘Every word I pen for my novel feels flawed and nonsensical. I find myself struggling to keep afloat in the vast sea of creativity.’

I often build up my self-assurance by reminding myself that I’ve published six novels. Recently, I was convinced my latest work was exceptional – envisioning glowing praise such as ‘Fielding demonstrates masterful novel-writing skills at the pinnacle of her career’. It could just be the natural progression of things.

Eventually, you’ll need to roll up your sleeves, as Winston Churchill put it, persist through challenges, and carry on with the task at hand.

Emily Maitlis confesses that since her Newsnight interview with Prince Andrew in 2019 effectively ended his role as an active royal, she has learned a tactic to keep clear of his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. “Sometimes, I find myself in the same space as them, and I feel regretful,” she explains. “Typically, there’s a quiet, refined dance where I try to reach the opposite side and let them be undisturbed.

Claire Fox, a journalist who was granted a peerage by Boris Johnson, shared an emotional story about her father, John. On his deathbed, he confessed that he had developed lung cancer due to smoking. As he lay dying, he asked Claire for one final promise: “Claire,” he said, “I want you to swear… That you’ll switch to Silk Cut Ultra [low-tar cigarettes].” Baroness Fox of Buckley, 65, shared this poignant moment in her life.

As an ardent admirer, let me share a delightful tale about Miriam Margolyes from Harry Potter fame. Once upon a time, during a theater performance, she decided to add a touch of drama by acting tipsy and sitting on a chair for effect. Little did she know, the carpenters had added castors to the chair between rehearsals and opening night! In my initial excitement, I thought it was a testament to the strength of my performance. However, during the show, I ended up toppling over onto an unsuspecting audience member in the front row! It’s safe to say that particular performance will always be remembered!

Here comes the cavalry, with ‘hottest royal’ Alex

Next year, when the Royal Family assembles for the Trooping the Colour celebration, it’s possible that one of its members might participate, not just watch, by taking part in the King’s Birthday Parade instead.

28-year-old Alexander Ogilvy, a descendant of Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin, Princess Alexandra, has completed his education at Sandhurst and joined the ranks of the Household Cavalry.

Flora Vesterberg, aged 30 and sister to the British Army officer, expressed her great pride for him. She attended his graduation ceremony at the military academy in Berkshire alongside their grandmother, joining Alex, who is often referred to as ‘the hottest royal you never heard of,’ as they celebrated this significant milestone.

Divorcing Lily says life’s a drag

Lily Allen is puffing her way through a painful time – and not just on stage.

The 40-year-old pop star and actress, currently going through a divorce with actor David Harbour, is portraying Hedda Gabler at the Theatre Royal Bath. She has persuaded the play’s director, Matthew Dunster, to allow her to use an e-cigarette on stage as she’s experiencing personal difficulties similar to those of her character.

During our rehearsals, I casually inquired of Matthew, “What about providing her with a vape option?” To which he responded affirmatively. I believe Matthew’s agreement stems from his understanding that I may be dealing with some personal challenges; thus, offering her a vaping device and allowing her some extra time seemed like a thoughtful gesture to make her life a bit more manageable for her.
