As a theme park enthusiast, I’m excited to share some news from Universal Orlando! They’ve just announced that their brand new park, Epic Universe, will be fully integrated into their Christmas celebrations starting in 2025. Mark your calendars – the festive fun kicks off on November 21st, 2025, and runs all the way through January 4th, 2026. It sounds like a truly immersive holiday experience is on the horizon!
Planned Decor Locations
Epic Universe will soon be decorated for the season, with festive displays coming to both Celestial Park and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
I’m so excited! Universal Orlando just revealed that Celestial Park at their new Epic Universe will be getting a holiday makeover! I can’t wait to see what they do with it – it’s going to be amazing!

Universal Orlando’s Celestial Park will feature seasonal lights and decorations, while the new Ministry of Magic area will have festive holiday décor. It’s currently unknown if other areas like Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk will also get holiday themes.
Integration with Universal’s Holidays at the Resort
Epic Universe will join in Universal Orlando Resort’s annual Holidays celebration, adding to the festive atmosphere across the entire resort. Guests can enjoy Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (at multiple parks), Grinchmas, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, special seasonal food and decorations, and optional extras like The Universal Holiday Tour and a character breakfast with The Grinch and his friends.

Universal announced that guests can expect holiday decorations across its parks, including the new Universal Epic Universe. The Wizarding World areas – Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and the Ministry of Magic – will all be festively decorated at Epic Universe.
Guests can also look forward to special holiday food, festive merchandise, and unique experiences.
Uncertainties & Gaps
While we know the general look and feel of some areas and are excited about the event, many specifics are still being worked out.

Unanswered questions include:
Universal hasn’t revealed details about the Christmas decorations coming to Epic Universe, including how extensive they’ll be, what they’ll look like, or when they’ll be put up.
It’s currently unknown if all of the holiday experiences at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, like the evening projection shows, will also be available at the new Epic Universe park.
The announcement only confirms decorations and shops at Epic Universe, and doesn’t mention any specific entertainment like parades or holiday shows.
Holiday Merchandise & Retail
Epic Universe will feature a year-round holiday shop named North Star – Wintry Wonders. It’s located in Celestial Park, right next to the Sensorium Emporium.
North Star Wintry Wonders is designed to feel like Christmas all year round, with red and green decorations and cheerful displays. You’ll find ornaments, holiday decorations, gifts, and items branded with the Epic Universe logo. While it keeps some of the industrial look from the neighboring Sensorium Emporium, it adds a festive touch. The two stores are connected, creating a seamless shopping experience.

Since its opening, Epic Universe has over 20 gift shops throughout its themed lands – including the Wizarding World, Super Nintendo World, Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe – selling related merchandise.
What Visitors Should Expect
During the holidays, guests at Epic Universe can expect a festive atmosphere, particularly when entering through Celestial Park. Holiday decorations and merchandise will be featured in Celestial Park, creating a cheerful welcome. The holiday theme will also extend into the Wizarding World, fitting with the overall holiday spirit found throughout the resort.

I’m so excited for the new park, but I want to make sure everyone knows not to *expect* every land to be fully decorated right away. As of now, only Celestial Park and the Ministry of Magic area are definitely confirmed to have all the decorations finished. If you’re hoping to see Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, or Isle of Berk looking their best, we’ll need to keep an eye on Universal’s announcements for updates on those areas.
