The upcoming Peaky Blinders movie, titled The Immortal Man, now has a confirmed release date, and we know more about the story. Cillian Murphy will reprise his role as Tommy Shelby in the film, which picks up after the end of the television series in 2022.
The movie will be shown in select cinemas starting on March 6th before becoming available on Netflix from March 20th.
The new series is billed as a continuation of the popular, award-winning gangster drama. It follows Tommy as he returns from exile to confront his past and what he’s left behind.

Steven Knight, the creator of the show, wrote the new screenplay. Returning cast members include Stephen Graham, Ned Dennehy, Sophie Rundle, Ian Peck, and Packy Lee. Joining them this season are Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Jay Lycurgo.
Martin Murphy recently explained why he decided to rejoin the series in an interview with The Observer. He said they received a fantastic script, and he felt obligated to the fans, who were crucial to the show’s success. He views his return as a fitting conclusion to the entire run of the show.
