Jacqui Burfoot has been slammed for accusing Jetstar of stealing her partner Clint Rice’s jacket.

This week, the star from Married At First Sight shared on TikTok about a challenging experience they had during their flight with a low-cost airline.

Instead of waiting, she immediately expressed her unfavorable opinions about Jetstar to her followers right away.

Jacqui stated that she and Clint traveled by Jetstar, but typically opt for other airlines as they aren’t big fans of Jetstar due to its budget status. According to her, the services provided by Jetstar are subpar.

Jacqui shared that during their recent airline trip with Clint, she had on his expensive Hugo Boss jacket – valued around $400 to $800 – to stay cozy.

In her own words, she shared, “‘A flight attendant approached me and asked if she could help by taking my jacket and stowing it away. I agreed, replying ‘Of course, go ahead.’

The reality bride said the couple forgot about Clint’s jacket until they arrived at their hotel.

Upon disembarking the plane, we gather our luggage, proceed to our hotel for check-in. Suddenly, Clint exclaims in distress, “Oh no! Where is my coat?” To which I respond, “Gosh, honey, it seems the stewardess may have taken it from me.

Initially annoyed at forgetting her jacket, Jacqui grew angry upon discovering it was missing after calling Jetstar.

The man said, “No lost items were turned in today; I’ll help you submit a report about it.

Jacqui was displeased when it turned out that her jacket, belonging to Clint, wasn’t returned by the flight crew, which led her to accuse them of having taken it.

She exclaimed, “I’m furious! If those flight attendants stole my coat, I might as well end it all. I’m absolutely livid about this situation.

I’m absolutely livid at the moment! I feel like saying, “Absolutely not! Return that jacket immediately!” Hopefully, Jetstar, my coat will be safely returned to me. If not, well… let’s just say I hope things go smoothly for you instead.

Jacqui’s outburst sparked a wave of reactions from her fans, as several criticized the celebrity for implying that the airline might steal her clothing items.

In their own words, ‘Given that they used to be part of the flight staff, it’s almost impossible for them to grab the jacket.’

It’s highly improbable that the crew would have managed such an action. A more plausible explanation might be that it was handed over to the ground staff, and somehow got misplaced among their tasks.

Jacqui returned to TikTok the following day to share a shock twist in the mile-high ordeal.

In this instance, Clint himself appeared in the video, and he shared that they’d located the missing jacket.

He informed us that Jetstar has found our jacket at Sydney Airport, and they plan on delivering it to us tonight.

Unlike his partner’s previous spray, Clint was full of praise for Jetstar’s customer service.

‘They were so good, they were actually brilliant,’ he said. 

‘The customer service was amazing , they called me twice today.’

Jacqui added the reason for the delay in locating the jacket was due to the couple’s high profile.

‘She explained that since they remembered our names, they didn’t mix up our items with the general lost property. Instead, they placed it in the manager’s office.’

‘I guess I was quick to judge. The jacket is still not returned yet, though.’
