This week offers some great new series for TV fans. Keri Russell returns in the gripping political thriller *The Diplomat*, starting right when things get really intense. And for those who love a good mystery, Adrian Dunbar stars in *Blood*, a psychological crime drama full of family secrets and drama.
I have to recommend BBC’s “Dreaming Whilst Black” – it was named their best series of the year, and honestly, it totally deserves the hype! It’s a really funny and clever comedy, and I just couldn’t stop watching it. Seriously, it’s perfect for binging!
Looking for something new to watch? Here are seven of the top TV shows currently available on Sky, Netflix, and BBC – don’t miss out!
What to Read Next

Blood
The first season of Adrian Dunbar’s series, *Line of Duty*, follows Cat (Carolina Main) as she returns to her hometown in the countryside after receiving news of her mother’s death.
The people in town insist Cat’s mother died in an accident, but troubling memories from her childhood are making Cat suspect her father might be responsible. Actor Dunbar plays Jim Hogan, who becomes the main suspect.
As the pair get locked into an intense head-to-head, dark secrets naturally begin to surface.
Blood is available to watch from Sunday 19 October on Netflix.

The Diplomat, season 3
Keri Russell will return for another season of *The Diplomat*, and this time, her character Kate Wyler faces even greater challenges and pressure.
The new season begins immediately following Kate’s shocking claims that Vice President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) is behind a terrorist scheme, and that Kate herself wants the Vice President’s job.
On top of everything else happening at work, the president has died, and it’s possible Kate’s husband, Hal, was responsible, even if it wasn’t intentional.
It’s definitely heating up in this dicey political thriller.
The Diplomat season 3 is available to watch from Thursday 16 October on Netflix.

Fearless
The late Helen McCrory’s six-part crime drama series Fearless has found a new home on Netflix.
The TV series *Fearless*, which first aired on ITV, centers around Emma Banville, a determined human rights lawyer played by McCrory. The show follows her fight to demonstrate the innocence of a man convicted of killing a teenage girl.
I’m so excited about this new legal thriller – and the fact that Sir Michael Gambon is in it! From what I’ve heard, it’s going to be a real page-turner, the kind of movie that keeps you completely hooked.
Fearless is available to watch from Monday 13 October on Netflix.

The Iris Affair
This four-part mystery thriller follows Cameron Beck, a driven entrepreneur, as he obsessively chases after the brilliant Iris Nixon.
Cameron discovered Iris was a gifted puzzle-solver online, and realizing she had the skills he needed, he approached her for help with a highly classified and powerful device.
Once Iris realizes how dangerous the device truly is, she steals the journal with the instructions to activate it. Cameron will stop at nothing to retrieve it, so it’s crucial he does.
The Iris Affair is available to watch from Thursday 16 October at 9pm on Sky Atlantic & NOW.

Dreaming Whilst Black, season 2
The latest season of *Dreaming Whilst Black* just began last week, making it a great time to start watching what many are calling the best show of the year.
This season marks the start of Kwabena’s career in television, as he directs the new series *Sin and Subterfuge*. The (imaginary) BBC calls it a groundbreaking historical drama produced by the acclaimed Bridgette Julienne.
Despite appearances, things aren’t going as smoothly as expected. Kwabena is finding it difficult to reconcile his beliefs with the issues surrounding the show. It feels like he might be judged before he’s even had a real opportunity to prove himself.
You can continue watching “Dream Whilst Black” on BBC Three this Thursday at 10:10pm. Series two will also premiere on BBC One next Monday at 11:10pm.

Witches of Essex
Rylan Clark explores the history of the witch trials that took place in Britain during the 1500s and 1600s. He’s taking on the role of historian to uncover what really happened.
Professor Alice Roberts joins forces with the presenter to explore the tragic story of hundreds of women wrongly accused of witchcraft – a particularly grim period in British history.
“Witches of Essex” will be shown on Sky Atlantic & NOW from Tuesday, October 14th at 9pm.

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch
For fans of anime and action, *Splinter Cell: Deathwatch* follows Sam Fisher (Liev Schreiber), a secret operative working for a top-secret US government agency called Fourth Echelon.
So, I found out that me and the Fourth Echelon stumbled onto something huge – a real conspiracy we couldn’t just walk away from. Things quickly escalated, and we were thrown headfirst into a dangerous world of stealth, intense combat, and a whole lot of action. Let’s just say it got messy, fast.
Adapted from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell games, the series is a mature watch.
Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is available to watch from Tuesday 14 October on Netflix.
The new edition of Living Legends is here! Buy Gaga in newsagents or online, priced at just £8.99.
