Initially scheduled for a September debut, the soul-stirring, folklore-inspired soulslike game Enotria: The Last Song by Jyamma Games faces an indefinite delay on Xbox platforms. This unexpected postponement is due to an unresponsive Microsoft regarding the game’s submission process for release.

The studio expressed that they strongly feel Xbox boasts a massive gaming community, and their desire is to launch Enotria on your platform swiftly since they’ve invested significantly in its development. However, accomplishing this task promptly seems challenging given Microsoft’s extended response times when we’re prepared for submission. This information was shared in a statement posted on Twitter (as reported by Windows Central).

“If it’s convenient for you, could you kindly inform Xbox about our predicament? Having a dedicated Xbox account manager to assist us would resolve this issue. Many thanks in advance!”

Jyamma Games clarifies that there are no performance differences causing delays in releasing their game for both Xbox Series X and S. They explained, “The game performs better than expected on the Series S, and excellently on Series X. However, we cannot release it due to issues with the submission process, and Microsoft’s response may take up to 2 months.”

Initially, Enotria: The Last Song was set to launch on Xbox Series X|S on the 19th of September. However, recent updates suggest that the game might be released for PS5 and PC as scheduled. But there’s a possibility that an Xbox version could be delayed, unless Microsoft decides to alter this timeline.
