Enola Holmes 3 gets an exciting update

As a gamer with a knack for mystery and intrigue, I must say that the news of Enola Holmes 3 brings immense excitement to my heart! Ever since I got hooked on the first two films, I’ve been eagerly awaiting more adventures with Enola and her witty detective skills.

The upcoming film “Enola Holmes 3” moves a step further towards its release, as director Philip Barantini, known for his work on “Boiling Point,” has signed on to be part of the Netflix sequel.

Millie Bobby Brown is anticipated to take on her role as the title character once more in the upcoming third movie. This time around, the storyline will continue to focus on Sherlock Holmes’ younger sibling, Enola.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the star of Stranger Things is not just acting but also stepping into the role of a producer for the upcoming installments in the series! This isn’t her first time producing, as she did so for the initial two chapters under her PCMA Productions banner. Her husband, Jake Bongiovi, who happens to be an actor himself, will be joining her as an executive producer.

2020 saw the debut of the series’ first movie, where we met Sherlock Holmes, portrayed by Henry Cavill, and his equally astute teenage sister Enola. In this film, Enola embarked on a quest to find her missing mother Eudoria (Helena Bonham Carter) and fled from her strict educational institution, eventually arriving in the bustling city.

In the 2022 follow-up, Enola sets up her own investigation firm in the heart of London, as the narrative weaves intricately around the historic 1888 match factory workers’ strike, a genuine event from that era.

In both films, Harry Bradbeer served as director based on scripts by Jack Thorne, who has previously worked on ‘His Dark Materials’ and the Netflix series ‘Joy’. At this point, it remains unclear if Thorne plans to contribute to scripting the third movie.

Currently, Brown is wrapping up the fifth and last episode of Stranger Things, a popular sci-fi show that’s set to conclude in 2025.

This month, Netflix shared a glimpse into the upcoming episode names, and it was the title of the second chapter that sparked much interest, as it includes a blanked-out name.

In simpler terms, ‘The Disappearance Of…’ implies that a significant character might vanish, while episode six titled ‘Escape from Camazotz – death bat or god of death’ hints at the reappearance of lethal creatures known as demobats.

Right now, you can stream both movies, “Enola Holmes” and its sequel, “Enola Holmes 2,” on Netflix. As of now, there isn’t a set release date for the upcoming third installment in the series.
