“Engrossing” crime drama that leaves you “wanting more” shoots up trending chart days after release

The new crime drama titled “Countdown” has quickly climbed the streaming rankings only a few days following its debut on Amazon Prime Video.

This show features Jensen Ackles from “Supernatural” and Eric Dane from “Grey’s Anatomy,” and it tells the story of an LAPD officer who becomes part of a clandestine unit.

It quickly becomes clear that the seemingly straightforward murder case he’s handling is, in fact, an intricate part of a lethal plot with potential consequences that could claim countless lives.

After its debut on Thursday, “Countdown” currently ranks as the second most-watched program globally on Prime Video, while holding the third position in the UK.

We Were Liars holds the top spot worldwide, but in the UK, Clarkson’s Farm has it beat.

On JustWatch, a platform that monitors viewer activity across various streaming services, the film “Countdown” ranks fifth in popularity both in the United Kingdom and the United States.

It seems that the majority of viewers find this series quite enjoyable. On IMDb, it’s garnered an average rating of 7.0 based on more than 1,700 user evaluations, and boasts 89 thoughtful reviews.

The review states that it is similar to other detective shows, but what sets it apart is the unique touch given by the Ackles and the entire cast. It’s well-made, enjoyable, and hard to stop watching.
