However, English-speaking fans like myself were met with some tough news: there won’t be an official English broadcast this year. As a fervent supporter, this announcement was a bitter pill to swallow, knowing that I might miss out on witnessing my favorite teams and players in action.
Although there isn’t an official LPL English broadcast available, there’s still a silver lining: The LPL will be broadcast globally through co-streaming. This is a new model that Riot Games and the LPL are experimenting with this year, and it could potentially become a permanent solution in the future.
