His stellar performance at the Commonwealth Youth Games, where he scooped up an impressive four gold medals, is a testament to his determination and raw talent.

British breaststroke champion Oscar Bilbao is heading to the United States to join Arizona State University’s swim team this fall. This skilled international competitor represented England in the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, where he claimed three individual gold medals and another as a member of his country’s 4×100 mixed medley relay team. It’s an exciting prospect, and one that I can personally relate to, having watched many athletes from my alma mater go on to represent their countries at the highest level of competition.
