James Maddison shared the happy news on Instagram Monday that he and his girlfriend, Kennedy Alexa, have become parents to twins – a boy and a girl.
The England footballer, age 28, and his model girlfriend revealed a heartwarming black and white photo of their new babies, fast asleep, and announced their names.
James shared a photo and jokingly said he now has enough kids for a five-a-side football team. He also mentioned the twins were born on October 30th, just before Halloween.
He announced that his five-a-side team is complete, with Jensen and Frankie Maddison joining on October 30th, 2025. He also praised Kennedy Alexa, calling her a ‘superwoman’.
The couple, who started dating in 2020, welcomed fraternal twins, Delilah and Rome, in July 2023. They are also parents to a son, Leo, born in 2021.
People immediately flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages for the couple, including support from James’ fellow footballers Declan Rice, Jordan Henderson, and Dean Henderson.
Last September, a Tottenham Hotspur soccer player and his partner revealed the sex of their baby with a fun celebration – they used a cannon that shot out blue and pink powder into the air.
The couple was overjoyed by the news, jumping up and down with excitement in front of a large sign announcing twins.
Kennedy wrote: ‘Cannot wait to meet yous’.
In June this year, the happy couple revealed they were expecting twins for the second time.
After welcoming twins in 2023 and declaring her family was complete on social media, Kennedy later announced they were expecting twins again.
She announced the news on Instagram with a beachside video featuring herself, James, and their three kids.
The video opens with Kennedy facing away from the camera, then she turns to show she’s pregnant.
The couple then hold up photos of the baby scan as they pose for pictures with their children.
I watched as James carefully wrote ‘AGAIN’ in the sand. Then, he added another message right after it: ‘Maddison Twins part 2….’ It definitely got my attention – I’m so intrigued to see what he’s planning!
Kennedy captioned the post: ‘Beyond blessed. Bring on the chaos.’
It was not long before some of James’ Tottenham team-mates reacted to the exciting news.
Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro reacted to the video with heart-eye emojis, and the official Spurs account responded with a simple white heart.
Pop star Olly Murs shared his excitement, writing, ‘Wow, twins again! That’s incredible! Congratulations to the happy couple.’
Kennedy, originally from England, lived in Los Angeles before moving back to the UK in 2020, not long before she met James.
She’s gained a significant following on Instagram with over 74,000 followers and has modeled in several high-fashion photoshoots, including one for the American swimwear brand Montce.
James was joined by Kennedy when Tottenham Hotspur won the Europa League, defeating Manchester United in the final game last month.
James couldn’t participate in the championship game because of an injury. However, after the game ended in Bilbao, he was spotted happily celebrating with Kennedy on the field.
