An ex-England soccer player was barely recognizable while dressed as the Hulk to celebrate his youngest daughter turning eighteen on Saturday.
The former professional soccer player played for several prominent clubs including Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United, and Stoke City. He also represented England at the international level.
After retiring from football in 2013, he became involved with horse racing, breeding and owning racehorses. He’s also worked as a sports analyst and commentator.
He married his childhood sweetheart in 2005 and has since welcomed three children.
During the summer of 2022, his eldest daughter gained public attention as a contestant on Love Island, finishing in second place.

He looked completely different than usual, wearing a costume that included a blonde wig and mustache.
Michael was accompanied by his wife, Louise, and their three children: Gemma, age 22, James, 19, and Emily.

This family gathering follows news from February that Gemma had been establishing her own home after leaving her family’s £4 million estate.

Before appearing on the show, she revealed her famous football player father initially disapproved of her joining, but he ultimately believed she wouldn’t do anything to shame him.
The swimwear brand owner shared with Daily Mail that Michael initially didn’t react well to the news she’d be on a dating show, but ultimately accepted it and told her, ‘I won’t try to control your decisions.’
She said: ‘I still wouldn’t say that my dad is buzzing about me doing Love Island.
He’s always really encouraging of my choices and was surprisingly understanding – he didn’t overreact at all.
‘He was pretty chilled, he trusts me not to do anything to embarrass him. He took it quite well.
He didn’t restrict me or offer any instructions. He simply said he trusts my judgment, as I’ve always been reliable. He encouraged me to proceed, but added that he’ll always consider his family’s perspectives, since they’re incredibly important to him and he’s very close to them.
