Engelbert Humperdinck, 89, makes rare appearance with his daughter at Jayne Mansfield documentary event
Engelbert Humberdinck made a rare public appearance with his daughter Louise Dorsey on Monday.
The elderly vocalist, currently involved in a disagreement with fellow musician Tom Jones, was seen attending a showing of “My Mom Jayne” in Los Angeles.
He walked the red carpet alongside his daughter, Louise Dorsey, prior to viewing a fresh documentary produced by actress-turned-filmmaker Mariska Hargitay.
In a timeless black suit, a crisp white dress shirt, a dashing black-and-white striped tie, a sleek black belt, and polished black shoes, the renowned vocalist made his entrance.
His daughter, Louise, accompanied him, donning an eye-catching black shirt featuring a single white stripe and stylish shoulder openings.
In the spotlight on the red carpet, I added a touch of elegance with my silver earrings, necklace, and matching ring. My smartphone was my constant companion, adding a modern twist to the classic glamour.

Gerry Dorsey was the original name of this singer who took on the stage name Engelbert Humperdinck during the 1960s. He gained widespread fame with songs such as “Release Me” and “The Last Waltz.”
Or, more casually: Born as Gerry Dorsey, this singer became known as Engelbert Humperdinck in the ’60s and shot to stardom with hits like “Release Me” and “The Last Waltz.
Louise is one of the four kids Louise had with Patricia Healey during their marriage from 1965 to 2001.
In November, the singer grabbed attention through an exclusive chat with Daily Mail, revealing details of his longstanding dispute with Tom Jones, whom he bluntly referred to as a “nuisance” or “annoying person.
Engelbert expressed that whatever thoughts he has are acceptable to him, yet he wouldn’t echo the same words towards the individual, a man known for composing melodies such as The Last Waltz and Release Me.
Growing up, I was instilled with the notion that being civil is free of charge – a lesson imparted by my father – and when you have nothing positive to say about someone, it’s best to remain silent.
‘I have never done that and I never will,’ he added.
I did not make such a criticism, absolutely not.
I’ve consistently maintained that the man possesses exceptional talent and a powerful voice, which is likely the reason he remains successful today.
‘I’ve never said anything derogatory about that man, never.’

The two men share an unbreakable bond due to their similar professional paths. They both had the same manager, Gordon Mills, who advised them to alter their names in order to achieve success.
Gerry Dorsey opted for the pseudonym of a lesser-known German composer, whereas Thomas Woodward selected a much more straightforward name derived from a Henry Fielding novel.
Tom achieved more prominent success, particularly with chart-toppers such as “It’s Not Unusual” and “What’s New Pussycat?” However, Engelbert wasn’t significantly behind on either side of the Atlantic, with hits like “Les Bicyclettes de Belsize” and “Am I That Easy to Forget?” not far behind.
Both individuals were renowned for their attractive appearances, and they each had lengthy marriages. Specifically, Tom wed Linda Trenchard when she was sixteen, after she became pregnant, while Engelbert married Patricia Healey in the year 1964.
Regrettably, I find myself facing the reality that both Linda and Patricia are currently navigating their individual journeys once more, having lost their battles against cancer (Linda in 2016) and Alzheimer’s (Patricia in 2017), respectively.
