In an appearance on Thursday’s Lorraine show, Lisa, the actress portraying Mandy Dingle, shared with host Ranvir Singh her preference: “I like myself better since I’ve stayed sober.”
In an attempt to cope with the loss of my mother, I would resort to drinking wine, specifically about a bottle and a half to two full bottles of Malbec, during those challenging periods. It became something of a routine or strategy I adopted.

In a recent interview with Woman’s Weekly, the actress expressed her enthusiasm about her upcoming role on the show, which she confirmed.
She said: ‘I’ve just signed a new long contract and I’m very happy.
