Emma Watson’s Oxford Dropout: From Hermione to Master’s Flop?
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share an interesting observation about the captivating Emma Watson. Contrary to the studious and meticulous character she played as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter, it appears that in real life, Emma is quite different. Instead of being someone who wouldn’t dream of skipping an exam, she embraces a more flexible approach to life, which makes her all the more intriguing.
It’s come to light that Emma Watson, best known for her role in J.K. Rowling’s movie adaptations, hasn’t managed to complete her master’s degree in creative writing from Oxford University.
Instead, it appears she has chosen to pursue an Oxford Doctorate (equivalent to a PhD), potentially specializing in English or Arts.
If Ms. Watson hasn’t finished her master’s degree yet, she won’t meet the qualifications needed to pursue advanced studies in humanities subjects.
I wonder if Oxford has made an exception to keep the star within its hallowed halls?
In the year 2023, Ms. Watson, aged 34, took up a spot in the creative writing program and later was recognized as a fellow at Lady Margaret Hall College.
She is said to have been quite independent, often found engaged at Oriel College, another Oxford institution, where it’s whispered her boyfriend resided.
It seems there haven’t been sightings of her in the Oriel common room lately, leading me to speculate that she might have taken a break from her studies and may not be coming back to the course.

Ms Watson has been in a long-running feud with J.K. Rowling over trans issues.
Last month, Ms. Rowling expressed that it is improbable for her to grant forgiveness to the actress and her fellow actor Daniel Radcliffe, stating they had shown support for a group aiming to undermine women’s rights that have been achieved over time, which she referred to as ‘celebrities aligning themselves with a movement’.
Originally, Omar Fayed would take a break from managing Harrods by boarding the Heraclitus. Now, the son of Mohamed Al Fayed is fundraising for the restoration of this 1970s ecology research vessel. It’s been shared with me that a Netflix series revolving around it, penned by Tom Hardy senior, is in development.
As a relative of a matador, the upcoming opportunity to steer the Cambridge rowing team next weekend doesn’t intimidate me in the least, Isabella Fiske-Harrison.
21-year-old Isabella, a Classics student in her third year at Trinity College, whose adventurous uncle is Alexander Fiske-Harrison, an author, will be helming the lightweight eight crew to compete against Oxford on Saturday. If they emerge victorious, their reward will be a traditional immersion in the Thames River.

Although he had well-known figures like actor Bill Murray, Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, and The Who’s Pete Townshend in attendance, rock icon Eric Clapton chose to remain silent about his 80th birthday celebration held at the intimate venue Battersea Arts Centre over the weekend.
It’s been shared that the guests arrived in London from various distant locations and were informed about the location for the celebration just as it began. However, the most unexpected twist? The musician was presented with a vihuela, an antique form of lute dating back to the 15th century.
SPOTTED
At the Canteen restaurant in Ladbroke Grove, West London, Isla Fisher, previously married to Sacha Baron Cohen, was seen fluttering her eyelashes at a charming, youthful waiter.

◆ Rapper Stormzy boldly asking for a waitress’s number at a swish member’s club in London.
Sir Mick Jagger strolled into The Rex Rooms nightclub on the King’s Road, Chelsea, accompanied by his partner Melanie Hamrick and the Marchioness of Bath.
Is it known that Florence Welch, the bohemian lead vocalist of the indie group Florence and the Machine, has purchased a haunted house? Instead, she appears to be working on restoring a historic building in a peaceful Somerset village to its original splendor.

However, I worry that her intended renovations might stir an ‘unsettling presence’ that haunts the property. Quite eerie…
Cool off, Jemima!
It seems Jemima Goldsmith can’t stand the London heat.
It appears that the former partner of Imran Khan is in dispute with neighbors regarding the installation of air conditioning systems at her £11 million property in Kensington. The neighbors have expressed concern over potential disturbances from noise and vibrations. Quite a heated predicament indeed!

Claudia comes back – for £350,000
Back in the ’90s, I was utterly captivated by one of the original supermodels, none other than the magnificent Claudia Schiffer. Her reign on the runway seemed unstoppable, with her success showing no signs of abating until 2002, when she made the decision to hang up her catwalk heels and walk down the aisle instead, tying the knot with the talented British filmmaker, Matthew Vaughn.
However, it’s worth mentioning that the German model, aged 54, who gained recognition alongside models such as Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington, has recently agreed to represent Chloe brand for a substantial sum of approximately £350,000.
A few months have passed since Claudia, depicted walking the runway at a Versace show in 2023, announced she would be working less to prioritize her family. She shares three kids with Vaughn: Clementine (20), Caspar (22), and Cosima (14).
I wonder how the French luxury fashion brand persuaded her to step back into the spotlight…
