At this Sunday’s Golden Globes, while stars walked the red carpet, one hairstyle stood out as the must-have look for the rest of awards season.
A bob haircut became incredibly popular, with many celebrities embracing the style. Selena Gomez rocked a vintage, 1930s-inspired curly bob, while Emma Stone preferred a softer, wavier version.
Many actresses showed up at the Beverly Hilton for the awards ceremony sporting different versions of the bob hairstyle.
Selena Gomez, 33, channeled the glamour of 1930s movie stars like Greta Garbo with her modern take on the classic bob haircut.
To complete the look, she wore a stylish black dress reminiscent of a bygone era, accented with white feathers around the neck, and a bold red lipstick.
That night, she was a nominee for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy TV Series for her work on Only Murders in the Building, but Jean Smart won the award for Hacks.

Thirty-seven-year-old Stone looked youthful in a crop top, showing off her toned stomach. Her short bob haircut also stood out as a key part of her style.
Her bright red hair was smooth and shiny, styled in gentle waves that highlighted her radiant skin as she gracefully walked the red carpet.
Emma Stone has been nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture for her role in ‘Bugonia,’ her newest film with director Yorgos Lanthimos, whom she frequently collaborates with.
Robin Wright, known for her bobbed hairstyle, was also at the event, nominated for her role in the TV movie The Girlfriend.
She chose a stylish, short haircut that was tucked behind one ear and swept across the other, creating an intentionally uneven look.
Claire Danes, also vying for the award for her performance in The Beast in Me, took a completely different approach to her appearance.
The actress who played Juliet in Romeo + Juliet showed off a new, relaxed bob haircut that fell to around shoulder length.
Hannah Einbinder, nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Hacks, was one of several actresses who chose a classic bob hairstyle.

Her hairstyle, a soft, slightly wavy look, reminded people of the 1940s. She also wore a sleek black dress cut on the bias, with pale blue ribbons running down the sides.
One of Sarah Einbinder’s fellow nominees was Parker Posey from The White Lotus. Posey’s fuller hairstyle felt very retro, like something you’d see in the 1950s.
Gayle King also sported a classic 1950s-style bob haircut. She looked stunning on the red carpet in a fitted, off-white dress, showcasing her recent weight loss.
Ayo Edebiri, known for her role in The Bear, sported a bob haircut at Sunday’s awards show. Though nominated for Best Actress in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy, she didn’t win, with Jean Smart of Hacks taking home the award.
