Emma Louise Connolly is admitted to hospital as she suffers ‘hardest few days of her life’ – four weeks after giving birth

Emma Louise Connolly disclosed that she was hospitalized last Thursday, having gone through what she described as the toughest days in recent memory, approximately a few weeks following childbirth.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that a little over a month ago, I became a proud parent for the second time, welcoming my son, Levi, into our world. My partner, Oliver Proudlock from Made In Chelsea, and I are overjoyed with this new addition to our family.

This week, Emma had to be taken to the hospital due to experiencing severe chronic pain and symptoms akin to the flu.

Sharing some updates about her health on Instagram, she posted a set of pictures taken from her hospital room and revealed that she was recently diagnosed with a severe condition known as acute mastitis.

On Monday, I was taken to the hospital due to severe, long-term pain and symptoms similar to the flu that I had never felt before. I was then diagnosed with acute mastitis and stayed in the hospital for three days while receiving intravenous antibiotics.

She went on to say: ‘It was truly disheartening that I wasn’t able to let Levi stay with me. Therefore, Ollie had the responsibility of caring for both our newborn and toddler at home.’

1) He was simply amazing. Every day, he’d bring Levi over for me to care for and ease his discomfort, all while managing everything at home. Without a doubt, he is an extraordinary husband and father.

Over those days, I faced some of the toughest challenges in my life, and I’m not one to exaggerate. However, I am deeply appreciative for the compassionate care I experienced and the extraordinary support I received from my dear friend.

‘Indescribably happy to be home and back with my two delicious babies and beautiful husband.’

Over the past couple of weeks, the family has faced some tough times due to both their kids falling ill with a stomach virus and requiring immediate hospitalization.

Following a string of challenging incidents, Emma shared on her Instagram Story that her children, two-year-old Bonnie and one-month-old Levi, were unwell.

According to The Sun, it was reported that Emma mentioned that both of her children had fallen ill due to a stomach virus. After consulting with their general practitioner, they found it necessary to immediately visit the emergency room.

She expressed: “Wow, this week has been utterly chaotic! It’s tough, incredibly tough with two kids. To add to that, we’ve had bouts of illness, visited the doctor, the hospital, and even the emergency room. In a nutshell, it’s been quite a ride. Just wanted to keep you informed.

Emma shared additional information about her babies’ wellbeing in a post with the caption: ‘Managing by the SLIMMEST of margins.’

Both children have been ill with stomach bugs, we’ve barely managed any sleep, breastfeeding feels almost unbearable, and I just wanted to express – this is tough. To all fellow parents enduring similar battles, I feel your struggle.

It can be incredibly challenging when your young ones fall ill, as all you yearn for is to alleviate their discomfort and bring them back to full health – a state of 110%.

They find it tough for both of them, yet it’s significantly more difficult when dealing with Levi as he struggles to communicate his emotions.

It’s great news that both children have fully recovered, and we can’t express enough gratitude for it! Time for a good rest now. Wishing everyone dealing with similar situations all the best and success. See you on the other side!

On Sunday morning, Emma expressed her gratitude by sharing a video, stating: “I’m simply expressing my thanks for all your kindness.

Additionally, I apologize for not including a trigger warning regarding the loud, chilling sound. It can be quite unsettling.
