Emma Corrin addresses their MCU return: “Her story’s not over”

Emma Corrin would like to reprise their role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They played Cassandra Nova, the psychic twin sister of Charles Xavier, in the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine.

Deadpool and Wolverine team up to stop Cassandra from wiping out all of reality with the Time Ripper. They bravely enter her chamber, endure the machine’s powerful energy, and ultimately destroy Cassandra.

Marvel fans know that on-screen deaths don’t always mean a character is gone for good, and Emma is hoping that’s true for her character as well.

The actor told Variety they would definitely return as Cassandra if given the opportunity, stating they were “absolutely, 100%” up for it.

Honestly, I really don’t think Cassandra Nova’s story is finished! I’d absolutely love to see a movie focusing on her relationship with Professor X – something funny, like a sibling comedy in the style of Step Brothers. Seriously, someone make this happen! The internet needs to rally behind this idea!

Emma also enthusiastically praised her co-stars, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy. She said working with them made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable, rather than overwhelming.

Emma explained that the people involved went out of their way to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. She said it didn’t feel intimidating at all, but rather like a fun and playful space, and that’s exactly how it felt.

“Especially with Cassandra, because I was in such a position of power as a character.”

It felt completely surreal, like being in a theme park. Everything was so overwhelming that I kept thinking, ‘This can’t be real life.’ I felt like an outsider, as if I didn’t belong there at all.

I’m so excited! Emma is going to be playing Elizabeth Bennet in the new Pride and Prejudice series on Netflix, and I can’t wait to see her in the role!

Jack Lowden will play Mr. Darcy and Olivia Colman will play Mrs. Bennet in the upcoming adaptation of the Jane Austen novel, which is scheduled to be released later this year.

Emma will also be in a new horror movie from A24, directed by Arkasha Stevenson, who previously worked on The First Omen. The film will also star Hunter Schafer, Josh Hutcherson, and Caleb Landry Jones, according to Deadline.

Details about the project are scarce, but it centers around a bachelor party that quickly turns into a frightening and horrific experience.
