Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott facing DUI charge after allegedly crashing car with son as passenger

Kimberly Scott, who was formerly married to Eminem, is facing legal trouble in Michigan. Reports say she was involved in a car accident with her son and other people in the vehicle.

Oh my god, you won’t BELIEVE this! I just saw the court documents on TMZ, and apparently Scott – yes, the Scott – is in trouble! They’re saying he got two misdemeanor charges: driving under the influence and, get this, he didn’t even stop after hitting something! And he didn’t identify himself either! I’m so worried about him, but seriously, what was he thinking?! It’s just…shocking.

However, Michael Smith, Scott’s lawyer, stated that she hadn’t been arrested by Tuesday and that he didn’t know of any outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Smith, who described his client as a kind and decent person and called the situation regrettable, stated that she would surrender to authorities if an arrest warrant is issued.

According to the publication, someone familiar with the situation said the reported crash happened around 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, February 16th.

Scott, who had been struggling with addiction for years but had recently gotten sober, reportedly left her house with her teenage son, Parker, and three of his friends in the car.

The group had planned a shopping trip, but it was cut short when Scott supposedly hit a parked car.

The report states that Scott didn’t pull over when asked, but kept driving. However, she didn’t finish her shopping trip; she went straight home instead.

Scott reportedly crashed her car again while pulling into her driveway, this time hitting her garage door after failing to stop.

A photo taken on Monday, published by TMZ, appears to show Scott’s white Range Rover after it hit a garage door, causing some damage.

Okay, so I was looking at this car, and honestly, it had a pretty rough go of it. The headlight on the passenger side was completely smashed, and the bumper was damaged – actually, a piece of it was even ripped off! It was hard to tell exactly which accident caused most of the damage, though. It just looked like it had been in something.

A neighbor of Scott’s, who said they witnessed the accident, called the police, according to a report.

Scott was taken to the hospital after arriving, reportedly with some injuries. He was released Tuesday morning.

Scott often found herself at the center of public attention, especially during her relationship with Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III. They were married and divorced twice.

The two were introduced in 1987 and began dating years later, before tying the knot in 1999.

The couple married and divorced in 2001, then briefly remarried in 2006 before separating again later that same year.

In 1995, Scott and Eminem welcomed a daughter, 30-year-old Hailie Jade Scott.

Scott had a son, Parker, with a previous partner. Later, while not with Eminem, she and Eric Hartter had a daughter, Stevie Laine Scott, in 2002.

However, the rapper later adopted Stevie in 2005 after he and Scott reunited. Hartter died in 2019.

Eminem is also the adoptive parent of Alaina Marie Scott, who is 32 years old and the daughter of his former wife’s sister, Dawn Scott.

I’ve always believed in the power of family, and it breaks my heart to share that my sister, who struggled with addiction for so many years, sadly passed away in 2016. I adopted her back in the early 2000s, and her loss is something I still feel deeply.
