I’m sharing this news as a devoted follower: After almost three years together, Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard have officially parted ways, according to an exclusive report by DailyMail.com.

As per the court documents, a decree was submitted to the Supreme Court of Manhattan on July 22, thereby dissolving the marriage between Emily (aged 34) and Sebastian (aged 44), officially ending their union as husband and wife.

On the very same day, a medical child support order backed by qualifications was submitted. Since divorce documents are kept confidential in New York, more specifics about this weren’t disclosed.

Back in December, it seemed like the divorce was about to be finalized. The model’s lawyer submitted numerous papers such as a draft for a medical child support order for a qualified minor, a certificate of dissolution, and a proposed divorce settlement. However, the proposed divorce settlement required corrections.

It seems a resolution was made in December, as evidenced by a filing of a settlement document. However, once more, specifics about the agreement remain confidential.

Emily initiated a divorce from Sebastian in September 2022, which was four years following their wedding date.

They split in July 2022 amid accusations that Sebastian was a ‘serial cheater.’

Together, they joyfully embraced the arrival of their son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, born in March 2021. This four-year-old occasionally pops up on his renowned mother’s social media platforms, giving glimpses of his travels across various international destinations with her.

Following the divorce filing, the author of “My Body” expressed that she had not found the strength or determination to part ways with her ex for an extended period.

She shared that she was extremely unhappy during the discussion about her divorce on Dear Media’s Going Mental podcast with Eileen Kelly,” or simply “She admitted to being very unhappy during the divorce discussion.

She shared that the emotional distress she experienced due to her unhappiness was physically apparent, putting it this way, “I felt as if I’d lost nearly 100 pounds, and being recently postpartum, I had become very thin, all because I wasn’t in a good state mentally.

Emily added that she was ‘trying everything’ to overcome her depression. 

‘I tried to take antidepressants. I was sure there was something wrong with me.

She expressed that a lot of the lessons she gained from that relationship were about relying on her gut feelings, she said.

During an interview with Vogue Australia published in November 2023, Emily suggested she might write a book about her experiences with divorce, aiming to challenge some of the negative perceptions surrounding the topic.

As a voracious reader and an ardent fan, I find myself astonished by the scarcity of novels delving into the complexities of first marriages hitting a rough patch. While I’ve devoured countless tales of divorces that occur when the kids are grown, there seems to be an apparent void in narratives exploring the intricacies of relationships that crumble early on.

It appears that an increasing number of women are choosing divorce at younger ages, which is often viewed as a sensitive topic with strong societal stigmas attached.

In her words, our world has undergone significant transformation due to women earning more than their counterparts in many cases, though not always equal amounts. Additionally, they shoulder both the emotional and physical chores at home.

Sebastian has largely avoided public attention following accusations of sexual misconduct, specifically claims made by two adolescent girls who allege that he manipulated and befriended them on Instagram prior to engaging in intimate acts with them.

Meanwhile, Emily appears to be having fun dating and embracing life as a ‘chic’ divorcee.

Initially, there were rumors about the mother of one being connected to comedian Eric Andre, aged 42, back in January 2023. This was following several occasions where they were seen together in public settings.

Back in March 2023, Emily left her fans stunned as videos surfaced online showing her locking lips with Harry Styles, aged 31, on the bustling streets of Tokyo – a surprising move following his breakup with Olivia Wilde.

In a podcast recording dated March 9, two weeks prior to their public display of affection, Emily disclosed that she had been in secret two-month romance with Harry. She further admitted that Harry could potentially be her lifelong partner.

Following her association with a member of One Direction, she was rumored to be involved with several prominent individuals such as DJ Orazio Rispo, the French actor Stephane Bak, and the singer Shaboozey.
