Emily in Paris star’s comedy movie is now available to watch on Netflix

As a passionate gamer and movie enthusiast with a particular fondness for period dramas, I’m thrilled to share my thoughts on two recent releases that have caught my attention.

The Netflix streaming platform now offers the chance to watch “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris,” a film featuring Lucas Bravo from “Emily in Paris.”

In the 2022 comedy film, Lesley Manville from “The Crown” and Alba Baptista known for “Warrior Nun,” take on leading roles. The story is set in 1950s London and centers around a widowed cleaning lady who dreams of owning a Dior dress and sets out to make that dream come true.

With hard work and determination, she manages to secure the necessary funds for her dream project. Next, she sets off on a transformative journey to Paris, where her perspective will shift, and she’ll influence the fate of the prestigious House of Dior.

The third film based on Paul Gallico’s 1958 novel “Mrs ‘Arris Goes to Paris” was warmly welcomed by critics upon its premiere, resulting in a remarkable 94% approval rating on the review site Rotten Tomatoes.

During this time, Manville received a Golden Globe nomination for the category of Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Motion Picture for her acting skills.

Among the other notable actors are Isabelle Huppert, Jason Isaacs, Lambert Wilson, Ellen Thomas, and Rose Williams.

In other news, Bravo is slated to take on the lead role in Amazon Prime Video’s forthcoming heist-romance film titled “Freedom.”

Mélanie Laurent’s movie tells a true tale, with Bruno Sulak serving as its inspiration. Known for his smooth charm and boldness in crime, Sulak not only stole wealth but also won over hearts.

Bravo will once again take on the character of Gabriel in the forthcoming fourth season of “Emily in Paris” on Netflix. This new installment is predicted to continue the storyline from the season three ending, which left viewers with a cliffhanger.

You can watch seasons 1 to 3 of “Emily in Paris” easily on Netflix. The first half of season 4 will be available starting August 15, and the second half will follow on September 12.
