As a die-hard fan who has been captivated by the world of Emily in Paris since its debut, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement whenever one of my favorite characters takes on a new role! Lucien Laviscount, who brought Alfie to life so vibrantly, is now stepping into another exciting project – People We Meet on Vacation.
Actor Lucien Laviscount, known for his role in Emily in Paris, has signed up for a new romantic comedy film titled People We Meet on Holiday, available on Netflix.
Known primarily for his role as Alfie in the Netflix series, this actor is set to feature in the film adaption of Emily Henry’s hit novel, joining an impressive roster of prominent actors.
I’m a huge fan here, sharing some of my favorite stars who have graced our screens recently: Jameela Jamil from “The Good Place”, Sarah Catherine Hook of “The White Lotus”, Lukas Gage in “Euphoria”, Tom Blyth from “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes”, and Emily Bader, who shines in “My Lady Jane”.
The story titled “People We Meet on Vacation” centers around two friends, the carefree Poppy and the routine-loving Alex.
Despite residing in separate urban locales year-round, they reunite during every summer break. However, the strength of their relationship is put to the test as they ponder over a query that seems apparent to others: Are they ideally matched romantically?
The adaptation comes from I’ll See You in My Dreams director Brett Haley.
In the recent past, Lavishcount made an appearance in the newly launched seasons of “Emily in Paris,” a series that debuted on Netflix in two distinct installments.
Recently, I had the pleasure of gracing the screen in the heartwarming rom-com “This Time Next Year.” This delightful film is adapted from the novel by Sophie Cousens and features an impressive cast that includes Sophie Cookson, known for her role in “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” Golda Rosheuvel from the popular series “Bridgerton,” and Mandip Gill, a familiar face from “Doctor Who.” It’s an honor to be part of such a talented ensemble!
In the early part of this year, he took on the part of Shakira’s romantic lead in her music video for ‘Puntería’. Remarkably, his character was portrayed as a centaur.
Originally known for his roles on British soap operas like “Coronation Street” and “Waterloo Road,” this actor is being speculated as a possible candidate for the upcoming James Bond character.
Additionally, it’s exciting to share that the popular series, Emily in Paris, has been granted another chapter, taking its lead character on new journeys in Rome for a fifth season.
Emily in Paris seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix.
